Congratulations, a very disciplined performance, thought the back line and Amrabat were excellent

(league cup and top 4 > FA cup though)

Laughing my tits off here at the couple of whiners in here trying to tell us how they predicted this win laugh

Sing when we're winning they only sing when we're winning...... rofl
I'm assuming you include me in that since Simon quoted my post from yesterday, soo..yeah. You do you I guess, but not sure I was claiming anything (or whining).

Anyway, this is a class pic and a good sign for the future.

If they do still decide to get rid of ETH then he only has his stubborn self to blame. He played this stupid wide open system all season, when it was obvious the problems it caused. When he finally changed it after the palace humiliation we have looked a far better team.

Quite funny watching a little gang pretend one match changes everything.

I love that United won.

I love that they delivered on all levels

I love that it stuck it to the plastic City fans and FFP fiddled team.

I hate that it takes a “one off medal at the end of it” match for them to do that.

Still some meltdown types will have a meltdown over it. Others will look at things more objectively and probably as any captain of industry would wink

Not quite the mythical quadruple you clowns claim you’re going to win every other season, though, is it?

Congratulations to the rags in, err, your cup final smile

Probably still moan and say he needs to go…

Tactical masterclass today and what a difference it makes having your two best central defenders fit and playing. That was a performance just like last season.

If we sack EtH then we need our heads seeing.
Should give him 1 season while they sort out behind the scenes. No one new is going to walk in and make massively difference yet till that's sorted.
Anyway in the words of Billy Connelly " #### the begrudgers" :-)
Spot on both of you clap
Yes!! What a difference having our first choice centre half’s made!!
Absolute carnage where we watched it!! fking brilliant-just got home-still buzzing!!!!!!

I take it you didn’t read my comment in full. Back to the little hang to report your findings.

Seems like we have ruined Newcastle and Chelsea's European aspirations.

As another poster said, if that's ETH last game for United then what a way to bow out. He can hold his head high, with two trophies in two seasons.

Thanks Erik.

Is the Community Shield not considered silverware these days?
No - it never get’s counted for anything. Great teams don’t boast about it, the only people who mention it are those trying to achieve greatness.

Edited to add - it’s one step away from trying to count the Emirates Cup biggrin
Let's hope you keep that same energy for the first game next season wink

I'm not an Arsenal for the record.

Arsenal finished 2nd and were in the running to win the league on final day + won Community Shield + got to quarter finals of Champions league. United finished the season 8th + won FA Cup and didn't make it out the group stage in Champions league.

Not sure whether that really is more successful!
Did you celebrate coming second in the league like we’re celebrating today? Open top bus parade for your charity shield win??
