You add Griezmann to the current United squad and how many draws get converted to wins?
Possibly enough to win the title.
Unlikely however, that Utd will want to restrict summer investment to just the £60m-£70m that he would cost.
Wages already significantly reduced in the winter window and ff Rooney is moved on, I can see further significant investment this summer.

It's encouraging and genuinely feel we are 2 or 3 players away from being title contenders.
Well on that performance we don't need any more players! As I said before, we don't need more players, our team is pretty awesome, its just getting them to play together better. He put in an honest hard days kicking yesterday.

Great game, but Pogba was st as per.
Aside from making Kante look st, several important interceptions and headers and controlling the flow of the game with his passing.
If he ups his aggression and reacts a little quicker in certain situations I reckon he can be phenomenal.

Great performance and result, but if we buy Grizeman and zlatan stays how are we going to keep Rashford who could be better than both?
That boy's going nowhere if he keeps performing well. He's a local lad playing for his dream club. I expect him to try to emulate the class of '92 and stay for his whole career. Maybe early to say that but it's what I feel. From my seat in the family stand, Rojo was outstanding again today with Bailly alongside. Thought Pogba had Kante in his pocket in the first half. Herrera too with Hazard. Fully justified that 2-0 today. The atmosphere inside was awesome too. It's days like today that makes me so happy to be a red.

It should be a fun game- hopefully the confidence from Sunday gives a good atmosphere and positive start from the lads. I do see the attack being a bit slower around Ibra, though, and given Anderlecht need to score there should be opportunities on the break.
I'd go with the team below starting, with TFM, Martial / Rooney and Fella coming on if we get into a good lead. I think he will want to keep Rashford on the boil, and tonight is a good chance for a couple more for him.
Romero
Valencia Bailly Rojo Shaw
Herrera Pogba
Rashford Mikhi Lingard
Ibra
I do fear ORD is right though, we really haven't been comfortable when we should be.

DDG in team of the year, bit odd,Barely had a save to make all season.Obviously the best keeper in the league but it's based on performances during the season and not actual ability I thought ? First time in last few years he wont be near united's player of the season...which says everything you need to know about how United have improved, and how clueless are ABU friends are.
As an aside its shocking aguero has never made any of these teams. One of the few genuine world class talents in the league.
I have a feeling tonight will not be as easy as people expect, but put in a shift like Sunday and we will be fine.

Do you think he has really been best keeper this season? seemed to make more errors this year than ever before (bar his debut season) just been lucky that a lot have not been punishedAs an aside its shocking aguero has never made any of these teams. One of the few genuine world class talents in the league.

I think you misunderstand,I said he shouldn't be in the team of the season..if its based on this seasons performance because he has barely had a save to make .Ergo there have been better performing keepers this season .Do I think he's the best keeper in the league...unquestionably but they are 2 different things. He hasn't needed to be the best keeper in the league this season.
I think he has made a couple of errors in the last few games,as madrid cast their eye over him again ,but cant recall many throughout the season.

Him and Courtois are the two best keepers in the league, neither gets to demonstrate it as much as they would in a lesser team. I remember us walloping Forest 8-1 a long time ago. Forest's man of the match for me was Beasant in goal, despite having 8 stuck past him.
