I see no quality in our team. You look at big teams doing badly and you always know they have the quality to get themselves out of trouble, and smaller teams will usually have a couple of players that can get them to saftey. That was us last year with Richarlson.

But there’s nothing in our team. I think these players would struggle to compete in the championship.

Bournemouth looked down three weeks ago. But have found something.
Leeds looked in trouble, but are clawing their way out of it, somehow.
West Ham have moved up, they looked in trouble but always looked good enough to get out of it.

We only have those three teams below us, if one of them puts something together, we go down.
Deep poop. I can’t see us staying up.

We had to beat Fulham today.

Have our performances become even worst since the FFP investigation for last season was announced?

I think it has. Perhaps the players have decided putting in effort is pointless.

There are plenty of times that teams at the end of the season thinking gney are getting points off teams with nothing to play for have tripped up.

Sometimes when there’s nothing to win/lose teams play with a more relaxed style and play better.

A few seasons ago Liverpool gif tripped up with two games to ho and hit proper embattled. Crystal Paris spying’s to mind.

I think we are stuffed. We can’t score. And suddenly we can’t defend either. Leicester have goal scorers.

We are done. We will be hoping that the last game of the season is winnable against Bournemouth? They just won four in a row ffs.

We have NO GOALS in us.

We make poor teams look like world beaters every week, we were lucky to get a point in the end.

Maddisons ego costing his points again, can’t stand the bloke.

Huge couple of weeks coming up!
It’s possible your keeper just kept you in the PL. we should have grabbed all three points.

I love Leicester, hope you stay up. I’ve kind of given up on Everton, they don’t deserve to stay up, they don’t deserve the loyalty of our supporters. A great performance for a change last night, but they’ve had 32 previous matches to show this season that they care.

Is there any news on your lots points deduction yet?

I can see the PL really messing this up and applying it last game of the season and completely doing you over. Meaning you'd be relegated but then it would go to appeal and then get added back, then relegating someone else.
I think we would appeal it and it would get pushed in to next season. It's strange that we've had to present accounts along the way before we had approval to sign any players, and then they say we've broken the rules.
It’s also strange that we get hauled over the coals for being expensive and crap, ruining no one’s season, when the likes of City get away with destroying the ethos of the premier league.

I quite like Leicester, and I feel dirty for saying this.... but I've never been so happy for Liverpool to score
Same here. In fact, about a year ago I actually considered that 30 years of pain supporting Everton was enough for anyone, and seriously considered swapping to Leicester, who always entertained and deserved their success. So yes, watching the reds tonight and hoping they do us a favour is very ‘bitter’…!!!!

Both our games have banana skins all around. We have to go out and get points. I’m sure the other two teams will get some results.

32 points cannot be survival, surely?

What’s the lowest ever survival total in PL history?

So there’s a group of clubs getting together to sue Everton for financial cheating. Including Burnley for last seasons relegation.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article...

Seems odd to me that multiple clubs can threaten us, as we can only take one clubs relegation spot.

It’s hard on the brain thinking about being sued for being so pathetically crap. There’s City at one end of the scale ruining the PL and winning everything, and there’s us, being blamed by other clubs that are still crap enough to be relegated as the reason for their troubles.

The difference between winning the league and coming 4th, is small in financial terms. The difference between finishing 18th and 17th is potentially £100's of million.
Everton are still not the cause of all three clubs being relegated, we only take one place in the league.

We draw (1pt), they win (3pts). Leicester's GD is better than ours (and Leeds)

Same for Leeds, but they need to win by 3 to overcome our GD if we draw, and can't realistically overtake Leicester's - so if Leicester win, Leeds are down full stop. If we win we are up full stop (as others have said)

Shame Leicester got a draw, a draw would be enough Vs Bournemouth if they had lost. Suppose we should be grateful Pope made a worldie in the 93rd minute and the follow up was blasted over the bar.

https://youtu.be/axbcKmJsQ_U

NB Newcastle hit the post 3 times, including once from 6 inches when the guy was already holding onto the post as a marker
The follow up was actually cleared by the Newcastle defender, the attacker didn’t quite get there. So the goalie and then the defender stopped really hood chances.

My worry is the other two teams pretty much know they have to win to stay up.
We go out knowing that a win isn’t necessarily needed.

We HAVE to win Sunday. If we fek about we get caught out and a last minute winner at Leicester sees us go down.

We have to win. No other opinion or mindset is acceptable.

The crowd have to roar us home.

We actually look like a championship team. That would struggle in the championship.
