Now this I agree with.

We've lost far more games due to a poor defense than not having scorers.
Fair enough but who the eff is taking the chances and scoring the goals? We've not WON the games we should have done as a result of having no strike force. Our GD is -4, not -40. We've scored 32 goals in the league in 25 games; Leicester and Man City 47; only Man Utd and Watford in the top 10 have scored less.

It's both, isn't it? There's no doubt that the defence has been poor, particularly when defending a lead, but a more potent attack, taking more of the chances that we've made, would take the pressure off the defence, especially late in games.

It does feel like there will be a lot of changes over the summer.

We are allowed our own opinions sye so why don't you back off a bit when opinions aren't the same as yours, you're not the footballing oracle.

Nothing will be done with ticket prices hence why I could deem it pointless.
Mine and others personal situations regarding game attendance has fk all to do with you, that is a tttish response.
I am all in favour of Klopp succeeding.

I didn't hope or expect an instant miracle, I did expect more than what we are getting.

Everyone can have an opinion. ahole in my eyes.

I suppose you also though our protests against G&Hs ruining our club were pointless ? Maybe if we hadn't took a stand then we might have been bankrupt and done a Rangers... so you calling me the Oracle yet firmly stating the protest is pointless is a bit hypocritical
I'm not sure how a very large number of fans protesting can be pointless..without fans the game doesn't exist as it is today.. this will only gain momentum and it has to start somewhere...the media is all over this and there is very large support from other fans so I would imagine if they find out their club is increasing their tickets next year it won't be only Anfield doing a protest..
Having an attitude of just pointlessness all well and good buy I for one would least like to know we tried to make a change even if it doesn't. .then come the day all tickets are £70/80/£90 and I can't justify the cost at least I know we tried to make a difference

So easy it's pointless from the outside when you're not forking out £60 twice a week to "support" your team

Ultimately, yes its both. But it was only a few seasons ago that while having a crap defence we finished second, thanks to a team that could score goals. Goals would do us the world of good, right now.

Ta for that. I was actually being glib - but I'm surprised people do actually do it in such numbers. Isn't it ridiculous when its cheaper to support a team on the continent than it is here?!

Definitely it can both. ManU have done ok with a solid defence and little in attack. I think if you have either a solid defence or half potent attack then top six is easily doable, but you generally need a bit of both to get top three.

That's good and commendable sye. I genuinely hope that protests do work and that people do take note, I more mean that it seems pointless as I haven't seen results from these protests, the H and G protest was a totally different thing and I do believe the club would have been saved regardless.

I may come across as offensive and non caring and if my situation was different then I would be at the games if I could, you can't keep banging on with that bullst about not attending games so I don't care as much.
It certainly isn't life and death to me but that may mean I have my priorities straight for my life and circumstances.

Everton owners should be applauded for voting on the £30 maximum away ticket... as for the rest just how's the pure greed...
Voting is easy. I would be much more impressed if Everton simply went ahead and reduced the prices. It would be a win all ways up for them.
What happened at Anfield yesterday filled me with pride. It was a PR disaster for the club make no mistake. As for some of the apathy shown about prices and the walkout, do you people actually go the games or is it just your forum opinion?

Maybe so, but if Everton are the only club that do it then they're immediately at a disadvantage to every other club in the league. At least if it was a league wide thing it would be a level playing field for all and every away fan would benefit.

The thing is it's chicken feed to the clubs. With the Liverpool price increase you'll make 2 mil tops. Out of what, 300 million turnover next season?

Seems like awful PR for next to no gain.

I'm dreading Spurs announcing theirs. With the Stadium build backdrop Levy has a ready made excuse.

Exactly. Our last financials showed revenue was up 20% to ~£255m: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/180970-...

So the ticket increase would account for less than 0.8% of that revenue. Or an eigth of a Balotelli!

If you regularly go to the games and have to pay the amount to support your team then course the price increase is going to mean and effect you more than if you don't go..
Your attitude of it will do nothing is easy to say as you don't go..people going feel they have to try and do something so they can carry on going and not get priced out of it. .
It might do nothing but it also might do something if it carries on and other fans get behind it ...

What do you think fans should do?
