Midtable championship teams like Chelsea Spurs and Arsenal ?
You beat us fair and square and the weekend, much the better team but I can honestly say I didn't see much from Pogba at all. Same as the previous 2 fixtures this season.

Did seem to do well in the half hour of what I saw last night though.
I thought he was in control of the midfield for most of the game .
I think some people expect him to score a hat trick and save 3 penalties every game because of the price tag.

You guys still confident of winning the EL? I didn't see the match last night, but I was surprised you didn't beat Anderlecht more comfortably.
I'm not sure confident is the word as we have gained the ability to screw up at any point, but we have a very good chance certainly. Maybe less so now with Rojo's injury if it is anything long term as we are really running out of CB's.

As with so many home games this season we should have won by a country mile, although for 60 minutes it was very even, especially once Rojo went off. Anderlecht put up a much better game than in the 1st leg, their captain Hanni and the big striker dude (not even going to try and spell it) were really dangerous and the defenders Sjabic (?) and Kara were immense. The last hour though, including extra time, we were all over them and should have scored several but as ever with us right now we just don't.

It's not been mentioned, but I do think their substituting off of Hanni and big striker chap was as pivotal to the result as our changes - they offered very little after that and just let us onto them until we scored and they went full guns for the last 5 minutes.

You missed the most amazing Rabona cross (Rashford) to overhead kick attempt (Pogba) though. Was on target but didn't go in (blocked by that bloody defender), but was some really good skill to see.

Why so worried about Griezmann? Why so worried about what will happen to us? Is there possibly a fear that we might start to finish off those matches that we're currently drawing?

Also, and this is a really shocking idea, but maybe, just maybe a squad can have more than one forward in it.
Worried? its just a simple question - or are you a believer only UTD fans should use this topic in pistonheads?

Pogba was excellent. He is excellent most games. Only a moron could fail to appreciate his ability and the way he creates space and finds passes. He is one of the best passers in the world.

We definitely need another striker.

Rooney is gone.
Martial is fat, slow and lazy. I would ship him out while he is under 14 stone and might still trick people into thinking he is a footballer.
Zlatan has probably played his last game for Utd. Very sad.
Jesse is not a striker.
Jesse and Rash have a very good understanding and would be good up front, together.
They looked great against Chelsea. Full of energy and can cause so many problems for defenders with their pace. Jesse is less prolific but has certainly stepped up this season. Rashford just looks to get better and better. Yes he scuffed a couple of great chances, but one or two he created from nothing which shows his desire.

You didn't answer my question. Teams are allowed more than one striker in their squad, so that answers that. You seem to ask lots of questions about Griezmann though, Why so much interest?

Probably because Steevie G made reference to him the other day and how good he is. He also said he hopes United don't get him. Think it's got the scouters in a flap hehe

Home leg second is good news and avoiding Lyon too (before the final at least). It's probably a team JM is relatively familiar with too, if that helps.

Celta are decent team with a couple of very good players who Barca and Madrid are watching closely according to a Spanish football guy .
At this stage of a competition you don't usually get mug teams.
If it's so piss easy why has no English team won it for ages ?

Factor in the horrific run in and injuries we have and it will be a very tough game.

In fairness anyone with an attack could beat Barca this season .

Maybe I've missed it, but how many English clubs reached the CL QF's ?

I think United got the best draw out of the three remaining opponents.

I think I know the answer to this.

More than the number of Dutch clubs making it out of the CL group phase. And equal to the number of Dutch clubs reaching the group phase.

Sensitive ?

And no, you don't understand. Who mentioned Dutch ?

This is about Barcelona vs. any club with a decent attack.

But if you do want to go Dutch; the Dutch clubs are not sponsored by UEFA, Oligarchs, Sheihks, SKy Sports or other profesional scumbags.

I really hope this is wrong, but Castles has supposedly pretty decent links...

According the article both Rojo and Ibra have done their cruciate ligaments. Rojo his Anterior ligament, and Ibra both his Anterior and Posterior cruciate ligaments. If it's true, then Rojo looking at 6 months minimum, and Ibra 9-12 months. Dreadful for them, dreadful for us.

Tend to believe it when I hear it from the club, but this is a lot of detail to go with to end up looking stupid if it's wrong, so probably an amount of truth in it.

Bloody awful if true. For other players his age you'd say that would be it, for Ibra I'm not so sure.

Anyway, of the above is true then I'd say our summer transfer plans just changed (or became more confirmed if you believe some)

Rooney is surely done with us and a similar good as Rashford is, Joses not going to have him lead the line next year is he?

Did you really have your sense of humour removed at birth as they say ?
Or are you just very stupid?
