Yeah, gutted to hear about Jonas
The whole story is a bit confusing at the minute. From what I've read Jonas was diagnosed October last year and went back to Argentina for surgery. When he got back, he was shipped off to Norwich. There are now rumours it has spread to his liver.
Not sure how accurate this all is; there are rumours Pardew pushed him out of the team as soon as it came to light. Not sure if this is just anti-Pardew propaganda though...

I didn't even bother to watch last night, found a good book to read instead. Even when we get rid of him I'm struggling to know how the players will adapt and start making things work. I'm sure we have enough talented players to get the wins but they don't seem to know how to play off each other. Need some drastic changes in starting line ups and formations, there has to be something that can work.
I went to the game last night; the atmosphere was toxic. There was some initial jeering directed at Pardew at the start, but then everyone settled down and backed the team. Once Stoke scored though...
I'm glad I'm not Pardew; there was some serious anger flying around towards the end. I'm not too surprised though, it was a horrific performance.
As somebody said above, Tiote was the workhorse last night (again); Dummett put in a good performance too. Also (I can't believe I'm about to say this) Obertan... He actually made quite an impact when he came on.
Pardew has to go now; he really is all out of ideas. It's consistently the same dire tactic and starting XI, no backup plan or pressure on the main players to perform.
I must admit, I did join in with the few chants of:
"It's never your fault, it's never your faulttttt; Alan Pardew, it's never your fault"
