It’s about history... nothing to do with talent pool. I don’t know any Scotland fans who would want a GB team.Do you object to the GB Olympic team?
The GB football team was a one off for the London Olympics, and as I recall essentially a requirement of hosting the games, so the Scottish, Wales and NI associations acquiesced.

Looking back at their history suggests they have not scored an international goal since scoring 1 and losing 5 to Azerbaijan in 2017. Since that game they are 1-39 over 13 games. Anything less than 3-0 to Scotland tonight is unacceptable.Russia are winning 4-0 in Kazakhstan.
There needs to be a big reaction tonight and anything short of a comfortable win is beyond thinking about.

I did see their manager was brand new. I was kind of hoping there had been a miracle improvement to make that result not quite as bad. Clearly not and it is one of the worst results ever.

Hopefully McTominay coming on will give us a bit of direction. He's played a couple of decent balls since he came on. We do look bereft of ideas when we're on the ball though.
