I think he should - but then he was playing for very little money last season, for a fixed period. I guess it depends on what's on offer to him - if it makes it worth his while for another year, why not?

Sounds like Foster should be signing on for another year, is that right?

That's good news. 3 decent goalies now. Hopefully Lainton stays fit and this pushes him; he's a decent keeper when fit.

Wrexham 3 - Man U u21s 1

A clash early on with the Man U keeper Nathan Bishop took Paul Mullin out with a punctured lung. Man U captain Dan Gore was sent off early second half.

3 goals from 3 players so it's not all Mullin or nothing, but hopefully he can recover pretty quickly.

It was a ridiculous tackle, completely pointless.

I didn't think the Gore incident was a red though, maybe the ref was feeling guilty that he didn't send Bishop off and was looking to redress the balance!

Excellent, at least something to look forward to as summer closes its doors (although it feels like that actually happened at the end of June)

That’s like 8 league games we might need some cover. Man U can lend us one as compensation

The cover would have to come from their 1st team though as the under 21's obviously arn't good enough wink

Don’t panic, just sign a replacement, James Norwood on his way to the Racecourse Ground if you believe the rumours.

Well new season underway and similar start to the last few seasons (a little slow). Good 3 points last night leaving us with a LDW start.

I'm assuming that knocking Wigan out of the cup was quite a big result? (I think I'm remembering right it was Wigan?)

Yes it was Wigan Athletic, I didn't know that match was on last week, walking home from the cinema I could hear the cheering and chanting from the ground. Got home and saw the result and it all made sense hehe

Yup on penalties. Form is quite decent barring the opening day which I thought was a poor choice of midfield. Too many ball players and not enough ball winners.

Missing mullin I don’t think he knows his starting line up without mullin he’s changed it every game so far. Another win at home Sat and I will be happy with our start.

Is Jordan Davies being edged back in slowly after his injury or something? Must admit I am surprised he hasn't been starting. And not in the squad last night.
