We did the double in the last few days, over Preston and Shorpe. All we need now is for Palace to return the favour and turn Forest over.
Don't you have the small matter of Swansea at the Den to overcome first? Really disappointed to see Norwich grab another late winner to keep second from Cardiff! But Norwichs never beaten attitude has been a hallmark all season! Hope Pompey can help us out next Monday!

Credit to Derby, they gave us one hell of a game and you could tell how disappointed they were not to get a point.
Cardiff have a tough lookinbg game against Burnley last game. Theres gonna be some twists to come.
Norwich Fans. There is a sound clip doing the rounds on the Forest Website.
Your BBC sports presenter doing the live commentary. It's brilliant. Not bad to say they are meant to be impartial
Saying that though, Colin Fray can be just as bad for Forest

Lambert has this never say die attitude. The thing is, he'd rather lose a game by throwing everyone forward than draw a game. We've done it so many times, and by the 90th minute, most teams are too tired to catch us on the break, or happy to take a point.

The one thing sticking in my mind is that you got a draw from the Cardiff game at Carrow Road as well with a very late goal! At the moment that could be the difference between 2nd and 3rd! But to be honest, if it gets you second its because you deserve it for the way you've played all season. Credit to Derby, they gave us one hell of a game and you could tell how disappointed they were not to get a point.

Very difficult game! I was hoping it wouldn't come down to that and i can't see Coventry causing any problems for you so its going to be come on Pompey on monday night!! andyjo1982 said:
I'm a Norwich fan and quietly optomistic for this season. We tore league 1 apart last year and scored goals for fun. I know it is quite a step up, but we seem to have got rid of a lot of dead wood and made some quality signings in the likes of Andrew Surman, John Ruddy and Simeon Jackson.
We have an excellent young manager, who one or way or another WILL manage in the prem in the next 3 - 5 years, the stadium will be up to 27,000 which will be full nearly every week, and we still have Delia...
I fancy us to finish top 10 this year. We seem to be one of the few teams to have signed more than 2 or 3 players. I think there is very little between all the teams in this league, Boro have signed a gem in Boyd, Forest still have Earnie, Cardiff so far have kept hold of Chopra and Whittingham, QPR snapped up Ambrose, but when i look at the list of teams in that league, theres very little to worry about.
Our first few fixtures are
Watford h (expect a win)
Scunny a (hopefully win)
Swansea h (tricky, would take a point)
Forest a (would defo take a point)
Barnsly h (win)
Doncaster a (difficult one, would take a point)
So looking at those fixtures i would expect us to be in the mix after those...
Good luck to your team for 10/11 unless your Ipswich in which case i hope Keano continues the brilliant work hes doing down there

What a season. I cant beleive we're up.
I can see Forest/Swansea play off final, but too close to call there... Ok maybe Swansea to nick it...

I would love this fixture. We normally fall apart at the play offs. But I'm hoping we can "do a blackpool". We have hit some form right at the right time this season, Just as Blackpool did last Such a shame after the great start to the season we had

You lot have had a crack at the prem in recent years, much better to give a team who has never played in the prem a chance But I'm hoping we can "do a blackpool". Am now waiting with baited breath on the QPR hearing. I think we can beat Sheffield United and I think Cardiff will struggle to beat Burnley on the last day. If we do get promoted via a QPR points deduction I will be backing Nottm forest
Cant believe QPR got away with it. Such a small pointless fine for blatently breaking the rules. Its so so wrong and shows the weight behind being a London club. I would have much much prefered the right thing being done and QPR getting relegated to the playoffs and Swansea going up auto.....and thats from a Cardiff fan. Its just so so wrong that its now OK to cheat!
Summing up Millwall's season. A good first one back and better than I expected at 9th. That should give most of our squad their first years experience at that level, all we need to do now is build slowly and consolidate. Well done Kenny Jackett for turning us around and making the last few seasons an enjoyable experience. Next season's season ticket is already paid for and is a 'touch' at £320.

QPR didn't 'get away with it' , they proved they were innocentSeems odd that you forget mention Cardiff and 3rd party ownership though - still you play under different rules right?

Well, they can afford the most expensive (and probably the best) lawyers. Teams like Palace who has issues last year were deducted 10 points and clearly couldn't afford big legal fees since they had no cash. Such huge exteremes of financial capabilities makes the whole English football league a nonsense. QPR break the rules and basically get off scott free because they have money.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
