No excuses, we should have wiped the floor with them.
Not offside in my opinion.....but it's irrellevant....we should have been out of sight by then.
After they scored it was a desperate uphill climb.......look at our substitutions...said it all.
Gonna be a stressful season, cos despite wanting to not care anymore....I cant.
When it's in your blood.......
Winter is coming, and the white walkers are moving slow.

You lot can forget the league
Was anyone even thinking it? I think we'll be in a 3-way bun-fight for 4th/5th/6th with Liverpool and Spurs.
Could even be a 4-way fight with Everton in the mix as well.
Stoke wanted something out of the game, and would have settled for a point I think but they weren't exactly knocking at the door in terms of being a goal threat but, TBF, Shawcross should have headed in his chance.
It was poor defence and not biting back after a mistake which has always been part of the bigger issue with Arsenal. Less than two minutes after the restart and we slipped on our own banana skin and all we're left to talk about is a claim for a penalty and a disallowed goal.
Something else I picked up on during the game was how the commentators were waxing lyrical about Welbeck 'looking sharp'. Yesm I like the work ethic he brings with his game, but the stand out player yesterday (for me) was Oxlade-Chamberlain. He played like a man possessed running forward (and was equally committed to tracking back) but little or no plaudits. I think I'm trying to pick out the positives but the team is still broken...

Or he was playing like a man looking to further impress the manager of another team.........We've spent s a net £28 mil approx so far and haven't yet addressed the obvious defensive and midfield issues. Seems like we can't buy anyone else until the wage bill is meaningfully reduced....so much for Gazidis and the change he promised.
Paying for years of squad mis-management. The last player we sold for more than £15 mil was RVP. Wage bill and squad size is out of control.

apparently you just offered Ox £180k/week Paying for years of squad mis-management. The last player we sold for more than £15 mil was RVP. Wage bill and squad size is out of control.

If Wenger had bought some decent players Ox would've been quite happy (I'm guessing) so Wenger wouldn't have had to offer him £180k a week instead it looks like the OX will go anyway. So come Thursday next week Wenger will have spent fk all hardly on a team that was average last year but even worse the chance that one of our best players is leaving whilst Wenger still gets his £8.5 million a year.
