I remember a few years back when we were in the UEFA cup and we played Marseille when Drogba was there. He beasted us home and away. This lad reminds me of that the way he has played against us the last few years.
God I remember those matches. It was like "WHO IS THIS BLOKE?!". Even the Pro's get that "sod it lets have a game" feeling

Well Pedro seems to be linked with the prem and us, Utd and Chelsea seemed to be connected every other day.
We are also linked with Digne the LB too.
Digne is an interesting link. If you ask me, the one weak link remaining in our team is at LB. Moreno, great going forward but cannot defend for sh!t. I have not seen Digne play but from reports about him in the press, he is excellent at LB. I wonder if BR would then mold Moreno into a left winger?!We are also linked with Digne the LB too.

I've seen him for Belgium against Wales twice. He had the likes of Hazard De Brooon and Miralles trying to break us down. It didn't work and Benteke looked poor. I think he's more suited to a counter attack. Not necessarily a bad thing, we did plenty of counter attacking in 13/14 to great effect.
Yes, but Wales is a top 10 side in the world, so doesn't say too much, RedTrident said:

Looks dodgy! Has that pic been edited? The centre of gravity must be too high on that structure (or it's a lot wider than in looks) for it to be lifted using the bottom corners. One gust of wind at the wrong time and the whole thing would spin upside down. Which would be fairly calamitous with something that size.jammy_basturd said:
Anybody else think that so far our pre-season has been a tad easy? I know the miles travelled will be quite knackering and it's only designed to get fitness levels up, but shouldn't things be just a little bit competitive?
I'd say after last season a confidence booster was probably just the ticket. Don't forget that 10-15 years ago you'd have just been playing local non league sides with the odd big game - I think people put way too much thought into things nowadays.DaveR said:
