Pep is a brilliant manager, lets not forget how bad the Man City team was in his first season.
I wouldn't say third in the league and S/F of the FA cup was a "bad" season.smile

(Well I suppose it was by current standards)

Very true. I remember them coming to the KP and we absolutely ripped them apart for 90 minutes. It shows how much they have improved and how high their standards are that I'm calling 3rd and a good FA cup run a bad season.

BBC sport football page less than 24 hours after what has been arguably the best title race in history. Can't help but wonder what It may have looked like if Liverpool had won it :/

Take the hint, no one outside of City particularly cares.

I think it's more that some peeps are too afraid to air an opinion about the said football club.

Plenty of good foot soldiers have met their PH fate commenting on said football club.

All records are meant to be broken and who, eventually, does it will be some team.
The good news for me is that, unless they start giving 5 points for a loss, it’s unlikey to be Utd anytime soon.

Been to see "The Keeper", this afternoon, been meaning to watch it since it's release but never got round to it. For those that don't know, it's the story of arguably our finest ever goalkeeper Bert Trautmann.

I was lucky enough to see him play several times, I went to his testimonial match and he kindly signed his biography for me at The Etihad a few years back.

If you haven't seen it, try and do so, before it goes off general release.

I’ve been trying to talk someone into taking but I’ve had to see avengers and Aladdin instead.
Looks like I’ll be waiting until it’s on dvd.
Will the missus like it?

Mrs WR loved it, and she doesn't like football.

It's a very interesting story.

Slightly bizarre evening last night.
I went to see “The Crooners” last night on stage. I’ve never heard of them but it’s a comedy/music show based around the swing era. I was right at the front.
There’s 3 excellent singers, one of whom is of mixed race in his mid 40s. At one stage he’s in his vest and shorts (not that kind of show!) and something was nagging me about him.
At the end everybody was thanked and named. No, it couldn’t be surely?
This morning I did a bit of searching and it was, he is Jim Whitely who played for City back in the late 90s along with his slightly more successful brother Jeff.
They were shaking hands with the audience at the end and if I’d realised at the time I could have really embarrassed my family with my hero worshipping!
Thoroughly recommend the show as well thumbup
