It isn't a poisoned chalice at all as Giggs is about to prove.

Ah hello Mr Chips!The football has been dire all season as the man in charge failed to have the balls to cut loose.
Giggs will do this thus proving that the inherent talent to play good football still exists within this current squad.
And with a couple of shrewd additions over the summer, the right confident man at the helm and all will be rosy again at Old Trafford.
Hardly a poisoned chalice.
