I think you're brave taking a chance on Wilshere, but it could turn into one of teh best ever signings or a job for life for the Physio team.
Not sure which way it will go, but if he stays injury free, he can be a heck of a player. Hope he does not go all "Darren Anderton" on you
Lets hope Andy Caroll and Wilshere get along...they might be spending a fair bit of time in each others company! Not sure which way it will go, but if he stays injury free, he can be a heck of a player. Hope he does not go all "Darren Anderton" on you

If ever a physio was looking for a tough gig, going to West Ham would be it. Conversely I'd employ any Physio who had worked at West Ham as they must have seen everything with Carroll and Wilshirecoldel said:

I'll say it again, he's played 60 odd games in the last two seasons.
To put that in perspective, that more than Obiang, Lanzini, Antonio, Carroll and Reid out of those that might be considered starters., and about the same as Cresswell/Cheik etc..
Hopefully he will become a great signing, but it's understandable that people have reservations. As my missus loves to say, time will tell.To put that in perspective, that more than Obiang, Lanzini, Antonio, Carroll and Reid out of those that might be considered starters., and about the same as Cresswell/Cheik etc..

News on Claret and Blue this morning that Kouyate, Antonio and Obiang are going to be sold to fund players coming in.
I can totally understand Kouyate, Antonio in two minds as on his day is such a good alternative on the wing - Obiang though was player really well for us before the injury...
When I think of Antonio I’m reminded of his naive error at the end of the match at Selhurst Park last season. Still, as you say on his day . . . I can totally understand Kouyate, Antonio in two minds as on his day is such a good alternative on the wing - Obiang though was player really well for us before the injury...
I don't particularly want him to be sold as I think there's still a future for him at the OS (again bearing in mind we've lost Lanzini's creativity); however I can see the logic in selling as he's one of the few that might command a decent fee; plus the Club's probably concerned about future injuries.

Too cheap, we could regret that.
Does feel too cheap - god knows how much of a loss we are going to make on Hugill. TCEvo said:
Cost £10m; don't see why we need to sell him for less really - doubt his on massive wages; made my views on his signing in the past but at the least he deserves an opportunity during pre-season.
Well if he is happy to sit on the bench for most of the season fair enough, but I just cannot see any club coming back with £10m for him, I think we panicked and well over paid for him.BrabusMog said:
I'll happily admit the past few years at work have made me a lot more cynical than I ever used to be, but I stand by my comments on Antonio. If he stays, I'm happy to be proven wrong but I think we're better off cashing in on him, if we can.
I'd normally concur; just think that there's more to Antonio's predicament plus he has Nolan's ability to score with his knee/nose/arse/shin/ear which is a rare thing. That being said if £20m+ were to be offered then we need to grab it; there is a new RR Phantom out after all.

Yes would agree, he does offer something quite different and has scored readily. I would guess if we bring in both Yarmalenko and Anderson though he might have to warm the bench, and if a silly offer comes in, then I can imagine he will be off. That being said if £20m+ were to be offered then we need to grab it; there is a new RR Phantom out after all.

I thought the Anderson move was not going to happen now. Is it back on, off, on, off, on again? Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
