City calling Oliver out is funny. Essentially a call out to other refs that if they don't give city the decisions they will publicly shame them.

The bitterness is almost as funny as the mad conspiracy theories city fans on twitter are coming out with.

Also great they managed to get a life size model of Sterling in the bus

Staggering the detail that goes on behind the scenes while we sit in our armchairs and pick the team... rofl

And a reason I always say trust the manager and the team that have got us where we are in 3 and a bit years, all this calling out of players we should sign and if we don't were messing up is silly, they know far more anyone who is right for our team and how we play.

Good read thanks Badbull

It is, though what stands out for me is that given the money at stake and the margins football should be one of the leaders in data analytics and it just isn't. I reckon there's a decade of dominance available to the first club that truly gets rid of football culture and runs the club along properly commercial evidence-driven lines.

A lot of what's described is just a description of why the usual stats are crap and that there are better stats when you think about things a bit more. Which we basically know; we know Gini and Henderson have better pass completion than TAA, but that that's fine.

If it were me I'd be looking to do some sort of deal with Google to develop a proper decision/outcome model, not so much for scouting, but for analyzing the opposition to see how to influence their play so their players make lower percentage choices.

Manchester City have made a formal complaint to referees chief Mike Riley over the officiating performance of Michael Oliver during their defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

Were always the victims arent we? hehe

Nothing like your club openly admitting you were criticising the ref when you said "thank you very much".

Be funny if their complaint is disregarded and then they fine Pep.

Really? That's pathetic. I can understand how a manager as successful as Pep has such a mindset but (like Sterling should remember) the game is over and gone and you're best preparing for the next one.

I'd forgotten Sane even existed until yesterday when I saw his name mentioned somewhere. That's what an embarrassment of riches they have in their squad. And yet they still have Kyle Walker ... (liable for too many goals for them).

Bloody hell Sye, you should move to China wink

I think I'd rather be a bit silly and debate things that we could improve, players we'd love to sign, rant occasionally at perceived injustices or poor performances. It's all part of being a football fan.

It doesn't mean we don't love Klopp, our club or our players.

I agree with you maybe I take it to the extreme a bit but it's only because how lucky I feel we are as fans to have those managing that we have now..

At the end of the day mine is also just an opinion as is yours so if you can make yours surely I can mine? You think mine are wrong and I think 'some' of yours are but that's what makes a forum isn't it?
