I've never seen a yellow card given for a handball is the opposition box, or saying you were pushed. Also surious why the handball on the line by Villa wasn't punished... I know we scored, but still.

Excellent 3-1 victory... Again without Saha, Fellaini, Vaughn, Peanuts, Jo, etc... Anchovy was a real handful, and played possibly his best game of the year. Jags was immense, as usual. As for Villa, they played 'OK', but their shooting was pretty woeful. Should of had Petrov sent off for a deliberate handball on the line, and even if it was a yellow, he received his second later on. Still, doesn't matter now.

I don't think it is quite the disaster folks are making it out to be. He is a great player for us, no doubt, but i think the lads have shown on several occasions that having a key player out just means that the others raise their game.

I'm not actually convinced it was a penalty. I've seen them given, but there really was minimal contact between them, and he tripped over his own feet.

It's OK... we've beaten Boro, Villa, Liverpool, and now Utd on our way to the final... We have nothing to be ashamed of. People forget that we have run for MOST of the season without major players in our squad, such as the yak, Anichebe, Vaughn, Arteta, Cahill, Yobo, Saha, etc. They forget we actually got to the semis, as well as maintaining our league position despite this. We came up against a united team that was certainly not full strength, but had crappy players, such as Scholes, Berbatov, Tevez, Ferdinand, Park, Vidic, Anderson, The 'wonderboy Macheda, and Rafael D Silva. These are players that get games in the prem. They had 4 or 5 players who were new, such as melbeck, The other Da Silva, Foster, (who some people think should be the England keeper), etc. Don't be fooled by the 2nd string theory. United have a huge squad, with depth. We beat them fair and square. Hell, we even played Gosling, and Rodwell... Ignore the dullards.. We beat them.

my, you really come across as bitter.. Nope, Cahill missed, but Vaugn, (just back from a long injury), put his away, as did Jagielka, (who missed the pen in the UEFA cup)... We didn't miss as many as you. Oh, and our goalie saved 2... How many did yours svae? (Christ this is getting childish)...
