So where abouts are you then fella?
At times we look bloody good - just need to get that consistency so we look like that every time we turn out...
Edited 'cos I can't spell, doh....
I'm currently in Denmark again, it's the only place I can get on the internet. We've been going between Denmark, Finland and Sweden but the longest we're in port is usually Finland At times we look bloody good - just need to get that consistency so we look like that every time we turn out...

I don't think Bent will start, I'd like him to get more than ten minutes though, at least half an hour.

Well I hope you were back in the UK for yesterday's game? Maybe our luck is changing, as I think we were lucky to get all three points, but hey I'll take them from anywhere!
Big one next week!
I'm not back in the UK till the 11th of November, so I miss next Sunday's derby game with the scum unfortunately, I think I'll miss both of them this season! I heard Gyan looked good when he came on, although we were lucky with a Richard Dunne own goal. I see our defensive record is the second best in the league, Titus Bramble has made one hell of a difference! Big one next week!
Well I'm home, so I can finally watch some football. I watched the Stoke game and thought we had a bit of luck, same with the spurs game, but we were due some IMO.
Chelsea are our bogey team though, I can't see us winning (despite putting that down in the prediction thread) but defensively, apart from one ... ehem... minor blip, we've been a class act, we just need score more goals so hopefully Gyan can cause a nuisance of himself in the Chelsea box
Henderson in contention for the France friendly too, chuffed for the lad, wish I was in his position!

I hope Bruce really has a go at Chelsea. I know he will go for a 4-5-1 again but I'd really like to see a 4-4-2 formation.
Saying that....it would probably mean a Welbeck/Gyan partnership up front.
Anyone know what's happened to Angeleri? Does he exist?
Fitness is an issue with Angeleri, as far as I'm aware anyway. Saying that....it would probably mean a Welbeck/Gyan partnership up front.

With Chelsea losing Ray Wilkins we could have a bit of a mental edge going into the game.

fk me, didn't see that coming! And it was easy - we could have had more.
Blimey.
Today at football I predicted a 3-0 win to Sunderland (albeit a Titus Bramble hat-trick...) but I still can't believe it! Blimey.
Superb performance from the lads! Not one weak area for us on the pitch today and everybody gave their all, couldn't pick a man of the match personally.
When Onuoha scored I was jumping around like a right tt what a goal!
Well, another win has helped us sit in 7th at this midway point of the season. Glad Henderson grabbed himself his first premier league goal of the season, and it was a well taken goal. Defence looked a bit dodgy but we managed to keep a clean sheet and it was a decent performance.
Gyan, Bent and Welbeck played well together although it was odd to see Bent go off.
After last week's defeat, this was a good response.
Well done Sunderland.

Well a good result that, Cattermole perhaps lucky to stay on the field but the first yellow was a bit harsh in my opinion. Gordon with a magnificent save to keep us in the game just before half time, he's got cat-like reflexes. Glad to see Welbeck get another goal (can't see us signing him at all now unfortunately!) and another clean sheet with a makeshift defence.
Hopefully "the rock" isn't too badly injured and will be back for the next game but I've been fairly happy with our defensive performances without Bramble and Turner (although undoubtedly they're our best 2 - Mensah if he wasn't injury prone). We're joint 5th... well we're 6th and deservedly so!
Best player today for me was actually Bardo, he's been fantastic at left back all season!

We've had a good January transfer window, adding some pace and steel to the midfield and getting rid of some players who were surplus to requirements.
Da Silva had a great world cup but just didn't seem to be able to perform at the speed of the premier league, good luck to him, Reid and Healy.
Bent, well he didn't look like he wanted to be here from the start of this season but considering all the affection he's had, not to mention the support and guidance from Sir Quinn and Bruce, the way he left was a joke. He's gone from a team perfuming well this season to a struggling team that he's labled as a "big club." 24 million for him is good money though which can be re-invested on players like Onouha come the summer time.
The addition of our 3rd "black star" is fantastic, I'm confident Muntari will slot right into the squad and give us some much needed physicality in midfield. Ssesengnon is unknown of sorts to me (he's good on FIFA...) as I've not got the Internet at sea but I've heard he's good and I'm sure Bruce has done his homework.
It's been a long time since I've seen so much quality in a Sunderland squad. Can't wait to get home!

Managed to watch the match yesterday in an Irish bar in Majorca
First half could easily have seen us out of the running but we defended well (kudos to Ferdinand and Brown) and had a bit of luck too. Second half was completely different though, once Larson grabbed that superb equaliser, Liverpool looked somewhat shakey and we exploited their inexperienced right back on a few occasions.
Brown was the star man for me, with Sess second. Brown was calm as you like, handled Carrol well and used his head. Sess is just classy.
Overall a good performance after half time, a poor one before it. Pleased that we finally have the much needed set piece specialist in Seb.
Being the only Sunderland fans in the bar was interesting too

Nope, holiday for me this time, much needed one too!
Ah, my Dad managed to catch MOTD and mentioned that the highlights were all Liverpool although Hansen mentioned we deserved our point. Had no idea the editor was a smoggy, the prick!
Looking forward to the Derby, Howay (shields born it's how I say it!) Sunderland!

I've got a feeling we'll win, 3-1 my prediction.

Seen this on ESPN, so we needed a striker in the window and then let one go. Gyan had look totally disinterested this season though, like Kenwyne Jones did. aholes, the lot of them! Lived in Qatar as a youngster, came back to shields and went to the first game at the SOL. That's when I was truly bitten (first ever game I went to, have since been a season ticket holder and went to the heart ache wembley game). So no where near the biggest fan but I do try
Love Sunderland and always will, MON is the man for the job IMO
