I think Hobby has been more box to box now he has someone reliable next to him. Sadly cant shoot but to be expected.

As for the Bissouma chat online. The guy isn't even charged and it was fine when he played for Brighton. Something seems a bit off to me and I hate to say it, but if he were white I doubt the wums would be trying as hard to paint somebody who hasn't been charged with anything as guilty. Hopefully it's just wums tripping over their JVC branded calculators and not something more grubby.

Thankfully I don't see anything on this thread about him being labeled a rapist. I dare say that could get PH into a little strife.
I see part of the benefit of Bissouma (hoping we get it over the line!) is that we won't have to always play either Hojberg or Skipp. They are both great, but it would be nice to see the midfield offer more offensively and creatively in some games.

I'm assuming we have the option to not pay/have him if he's charged?

Lineker thinks he's a good signing

Meanwhile, in stadium geeking news, I see it is being prepared for the Lady Ga Ga and Guns'n'Roses gigs next month. Interesting to see the additional vomitories opened up in the South Stand which are usually covered by seats.

The most important question about these gigs is - will we make enough money in sausage rolls to pay someone to take winks off our hands...

Predictions? I’m going for our season will start with a tough away fixture, probably Newcastle.

City, Liverpool and United will probably get home fixtures probably against newly promoted teams.

Place yer bets!

It's rare we get a home fixture on the first weekend, I think when it happened last year that was the first time in five years or something ridiculous.

I'm just hoping now that we have Champions League football it means fewer Sunday fixtures because last season was a complete PITA with the number of Sunday home games. We had 3 Saturday games out of 19 home fixtures in the whole season!

In a way, more interesting is the run-in. That's a good last four games

Soton home is a nice way to kick off also. Mind you, I witnessed the debacle in that fixture last season!!!

Yeah - hopefully we clinch the title in the Villa game so can get a guard of honour and be awarded the trophy at home to Brentford.

As late as that? I had the open top bus in mind for the Palace game
