Fans singing at the Match

Forest: Champions of Europe, you'll never sing that.
Ar5e: Champions of Europe, you weren't even born.

At the end of the day the better team won on the night regardless of what 11 they were facing. They are still all Premiership footballers.
It was a great weekend for the "under dogs" in this great competition.

Wenger's put teams like that out before with similarly weak benches in domestic cup competitions but generally has got away with it. That line from The Independent is brilliant.

The problem with this squad is what we all know and clearly Wenger does because he doesn't rotate.....we have a decentish team that can compete for fourth place but we have a huge fking gap between first team regulars and the Plan B. Also what was very, very obvious was that they targetted BFG....he's absolutely toast. When you get targetted as a defender and you're at the end of your career that's it....shame he didn't go out on the FA Cup Final win.

Debuchy
Coquelin
Elneney
Iwobi (he's massively lost his way)
Walcott (maybe off anyway)
Welbeck
Ospina
Chambers
Holding
BFG

None of them put any pressure on the incumbents int he first team.
It looks like you'll be selling, either now or in the Summer, Debuchy, Coq and Sanchez, Campbell, possibly with Walcott going out on loan/sold too. Possibly Ozil and Giroud was rumoured to want to leave as well.

Sounds like you guys are needing to completely rebuild your team?

The crazy thing is, from where you were just a few years ago, it doesn't look like you're going to get a great deal of money for those outgoing players, yet you'll need to spend a fortune to build a top four side again.

Two seasons ago, the start of our league campaign was made bearable by Francis Coquelin's performances. He was on fire, and many of us couldn't believe he was on loan at Charlton. He went on and had a decent start to the league campaign until injuries and suspensions phased him out of the first team selection.

Whilst he's not the finished article (still fairly young) what does it say about our planning and foresight that a year after extending his contract (and only using him as a bit part player) the club is willing to sell him to Wet Spam.

I can see this one dividing opinion. I've always liked le coq and thought he could potentially give us the midfield bite we were lacking. He lost his place to Xhaka who isn't exactly the midfield general we need (gives away far too much possession).

Sadly, he joins a list of promising young Gooners who fell by the wayside trying to realise their potential.

What's the point in Mike Dean admitting he made the wrong call [for the penalty] against West Brom?

So he got it wrong... and?

Somebody needs to take him to one side and tell him he if he wants to dress like a teenage Hugh Hefner then there's no place for him at Arsenal.

He can dress like whomever he chooses...

...just as long as he's pulling up trees on every pitch he plays on.

Well it needs rebuilding it’s not good enough...we’ll the squad isn’t but the first team is (if managed properly). The latest rumours on Ozil were a deal has been agreed but he wants to know what commitment there is to squad investment....and then there’s Ramsey and Wilshere who need to sign new contracts.

I am convinced Wenger is gone at the end of the season.
