Great results for Liverpool and Spurs, even better as it was two Italian clubs which is good for English Clubs.

Congrats. Could be worth a cheeky tenner on Liverpool PL & CL double........

Gonna be your year. Finally. I honestly believe you will win the PL the season.

Top of the league and through to the last 16 of the Champions League.

Bit worried were delusional and Klopps wheels are falling off.

Apparently that save earned us 11m euros.

Loving how we have a solid side with a great defence, a keeper who can be trusted and starts attacks, plenty of squad depth in midfield. An amazing vibe and team spirit and a attack that, well, sometimes gets it right biggrin

We've a manager who gets it, isnt perfect but has a plan (a and b) and knows what to work on when it needs to be worked on. He had the confidence to write off the first Napoli game as just a bad day at the office and move on rather than drag them through all the mistakes.

And the best is this is just the start, the foundation of a team thats going to compete for many years now.

This year, Liverpool players have scored more goals past Alisson than the whole of the rest of the league put together.

Morning, nice to wake up still in the champions league isn't it?

Was much closer than it should've been last night, hope we have a good shooting session in training this week, some of the misses were dismal.

We'll have to be a lot more clinical on Sunday to put a couple past ddg.

Easy to say it now, but not one bit worried about Mane missing all those chances, look at how many we created thats the main thing. The keeper, ah yes the keeper. Thought Winji was excellent, Henderson improved (not sure I'd start him though). Mo, is lethal, looked really dangerous last night. VVD, oh man.

Ancelotti claiming VAR would have sent VVD off. Not convinced myself, definitely gave him a nasty wrap on the ankle but there was no intent and he clearly got the ball. It took until the replay to see it, initially it just looked like an awesome tackle.

Would love to get Barca in the next round.

I thought 2nd place teams could only be drawn against 1st place teams which would give us:

Dortmund, Barcelona, Porto, Bayern, Real Madrid or Juventus.

According to BT we can get any of the following though:

Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Porto, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Ajax, Lyon, Shakhtar Donetsk or Juventus.

Klopp uses exaggeration as a tool. “If I knew Alisson was this good – I would have paid double,” he told Jamie Carragher in a pitch-side interview at Anfield last night, hehe and would anyone argue

What a way to spend £142m hehe
