Aberdeen barely had the ball and main (only) tactic was to boot anything that moved, just like Hearts. It was comedic in all honesty. Cosgrove was lucky to be on the park and was probably due a few yellows and a red, spared only by the early nature of his infringements.
The Aberdeen goals are purely lucky breaks and double or triple ricochets. Funny old game.
I see Celtic scraped past the world beaters Hamilton too. Both teams saving themselves for Sunday - hopefully a cracker.

Rangers were there for the taking. If teams can get to the Rangers' defence they do struggle badly.
It sounds as if Celtic strolled around the park and took Hamilton too lightly. As soon as a goal was needed the players Instantly got one.
No idea why Lennon is playing Morgan up front. Other players need game time to get up to speed.
I'm not sure what to expect on Sunday. Something says that Rangers will try to turn it into a physical battle.
Only one team has turned up for the other 2019 old firms, Rangers x2 and Celtic in September. If both appear on Sunday we’ll have a cracker. I think we’re really lucky to have some excellent attacking talent on show these days. Morelos and Kent especially have the sort of talent we’ve not seen at Ibrox since the early 00s, and Celtic’s European results this season speak for themselves too.

Defensively in the second half we were very strong and Rangers struggled to create clear cut chances. Considine & (dare i say it) Taylor were very good and Ferguson had one of his best games of the season in my opinion.
A draw was quite fair really i thought.
Sunday will be interesting, yes Rangers can score but i think their defense at leaking these kind of goals will be their downfall and Celtic just have that extra level when needed.

Aberdeen's fouls all within the first five minutes of the game. No yellow card received.
Any of those are commited by a Rangers player and it's a yellow every time. The one on Davis is a straight red if it's Morelos or Jack, take a look at his at Pittodrie from last season for proof.
Hearts should have been down to at least nine men last week too.
Scottish football really is s
t. Sunday league standard outside of Rangers and Celtic, and that includes the officials.

It's a bit of pulling and shoving. The incident with Davis in never a red. Aberdeen's fouls all within the first five minutes of the game. No yellow card received.

Does a couple of points dropped mean every little decision is going to be overanalysed?
One game a ref gets praised for not being card happy, next game they are getting ripped to bits for not booking everyone for anything.
Nobody has an issue when their team's players get away with something.

I couldn’t believe the ref live, when we were two up. And at 2-1 up at half time we were saying it was incredible Cosgrove was still on the pitch. It was honestly somewhere between tragic and comic Aberdeen’s tactics early in the game last night. They weren’t even trying to go near the ball they were just clean stopping players Does a couple of points dropped mean every little decision is going to be overanalysed?

Honestly, this is a sad reflection of the game in Scotland.
Rangers drop points and it's "boo-hoo we were cheated", "it's not fair", "noone likes us", blah, blah, blah.
Get over it. Happens to all clubs.
Don’t think anyone here has said there was cheating Rangers drop points and it's "boo-hoo we were cheated", "it's not fair", "noone likes us", blah, blah, blah.

It happens with greater frequency with Rangers than your average club. Because of the passing game and skill on show, inferior teams obviously feel the need to make it more of a physical rather than technical and tactical battle. Fair play to Aberdeen there’s plenty ways to get a point if the ref lets you.

I could give you umpteen examples of when Hibs were blatantly cheated, denied goals, denied penalties, etc.
It happens. That's life. Deal with it. Here's a wee surprise - Rangers are not special.

Actually, Rangers (and Celtic) are special. They’re miles ahead of the rest of the league. If Hibs start to score 3 goals a game with free flowing attacking football it’ll probably happen to them too.
Refs can referee the games how they want, but they should really be following the rules. It’s not Beaton’s fault Rangers didn’t win. It’s Rangers’ for not scoring more goals than Aberdeen.
In the long term do we want our kids learning to grow up and get away with numerous cardworthy tackles? And we wonder why our national team and clubs outside the old firm are so s
