Can't agree. Roy picked the squad, set out the formations, defined the tactics, made the substitutions and prepared the players for what they need to do. All of it was s
t.
Whilst the players must take their share of the blame try doing your job with such bad preparation and organisation and see how far you get.
With a team like Icleand we should be able to pick much lower division players and win but this lot are just paid too much with no passion. Never watching them again after nearly 50 years.![](/inc/images/censored.gif)

I've got an original 1966 final ticket and a montage including all the England players signatures including Sir Alf and Ken Wolstenhomes signatures but considering selling now.

I watched Italy play today and they were the exact opposite of us and a joy to watch. It all comes from the bench, and when you see Conte at Chelsea this year you'll know what I mean. Pure passion and drive.

If you saw the reaction after the winner against Wales I do think there is passion there, it just isn't harnessed by the current setup. We have totally the wrong mind set, one of fear and negativity, and it affect everything we do. Add to that the fact that there appears to be no plan at all when things go wrong and it was never going to work out.

I saw Italy too and they were a breath of fresh air from their old self - at one up they'd have been camped in the 18 yard box but actually were more attacking than any team I've seen. Hope they do well.I watched Italy play today and they were the exact opposite of us and a joy to watch. The worlds a mess - we could end up with Boris as PM and Trump as US President - god help us all.
