Do you guys think the constant toxicity from fans over the last couple of years has distracted Wenger and the board from getting on and actually managing the club? Instead of dealing with player contracts and bringing new people in, Wenger and the board have had to consider his future at a critical time when players (especially defence) were coming up to needing replacements?

Also, with all the unhappy fans, it seems any new players don't get any time to settle. No one seems to rally behind them when they're going through a patch of poor form. It's all just bhing and moaning.

Rumblings that BatShuayi is at Dortmund having a medical, I think we're mad if Giroud goes to Chelsea, that's two of our best attacking players to direct rivals, when our issues have always been defensive, not attacking
giroud who has played so match this season and contributed so much. good riddance. chelsea are not a direct rival anymore sadly

I assume this relates to internet moaning you are talking about as i think the fans, certainly at home, have been excellent at getting behind the team and players. For sure there have been occasions when the crowd has turned but those are largely few and far between. That's not to say that everyone is happy and thinks AFC is a rosey place because it certainly isn't but i think your perception as to what happens in the ground is more than a little wide of the mark.

As for internet whinging, i doubt the club could give a st.
the ground is full of JCL's and tourists who havent a clue and just want a nice day out. arsenal died when it moved to the bowl.

well i didn't believe it, but chapeau to Sven, Ivan and Raul. i refuse to believe AW had anything to do with this.

he is one of the top 5 strikers in europe, and as good as harry 'hes not really one o our own, speaks like a deaf, m*ng face' Kane, Higuain, Lewandoksi etc.

so kudos.

as for all this baggage and him being unruly. its BS, its only just been raked up by the media. Michael Zorcs farewell statement on him (on the Borussia website in German) tells it as it is, i.e .hes been brilliant for them and had a great relationship since he signed up until the last few weeks, so i wouldn't worry about all this tripe about being unmanageable.

I hope an pray its a sign of AW being marginalized and that behind the scenes an Ancellotti/Allegri has been confirmed as taking over in the summer and Auba and Ozil have been told this...wishful thinking perhaps.

If thats not the case then the signings pointless. auba will be ruined.

we will still have no tactics, play horrible slow sideways boring football, have an undrilled defense and a past it keeper who has been awful for us pretty much since he signed in goal.

Personally i don't think the defense is that bad, its just not trained or worked on. Yes it needs reinforcing centrally, but greater need is GK and defensive midfield.A manager who actually does tactics and coaching could sort the defense out, and with a decent keeper and decent DM, along with continued clear out of the crap (Iwobi, Elneny, Ramsey next please - bring back Campbell and Perez from loan they can do no worse) we have a pretty good basis to challenge.

We just need a new manager. (and not a AW stooge/lite like eddie howe or martinez)

ps Alex Song is at the training ground...please god no.

Ozil resigns which is good news which means amazing potential with Ozil, Micky-taker, Alex and PEA up front. It's just a shame that what is behind them wouldn't survive in the first division let alone the Championship.

Please explain how hes arsenals greatest manager?

Also whats so big about winning a NLD. it should be routine. Because of the self harmer its not.

Why is it wrong for fans of one of the biggest clubs in the country to expect the manager to do everything possibly and use all resources available to him to try to compete with the oil clubs?

Why is it wrong for fans to moan about the club going backwards and under performing, simply because the man responsible did great things over a decade ago.

Where does it stop? Were Forest fans wrong to boo Brian Clough in the seasons leading up to and finally when they we relegated, simply because he had a long time ago been amazing but had lost the plot and was living off long past successes?

When does it end?

If the person doing harm refuses to leave of their own violation and continues to cause harm, why are fans not allowed to moan vociferously about it? Yes he was amazing 10 years ago but has been stale since, but we are meant to politely accept it?

But you have an agenda. You sing AW we want you to stay, as you do as hes brought us down to your level. But still the worst Arsenal teams in years are still finishing above the best spurs teams in year bar last season. Why should we accept being brought down to compete with the smaller 'cup' (thats not really true is it, you havent won many) teams who have little success historically, rather than for the main titles, given we have all the resources to compete with our peers amongst the big 4 (plus city).

I've been a supporter since the days of Billy Wright, and I wouldn't argue with a word of the above. Wenger has been fantastic for us, but he has seriously damaged not only the club, but also his legacy.

im semi-young so my first real memories are the cup wins of the early 90's (too young to remember 91), im sane enough to be eternally grateful for what wenger has achieved with us but people seem to forget we were a huge club before he came (in the top 3 in England in size) and will be when hes gone. I don't demand titles, i just want to compete and use the resources we had available and do everything we can to try to compete. A lot of other clubs fans pretend not to realise this and say we are ungrateful, but with all due respect our peers are United and Liverpool, now doped Chelsea and City. There the clubs we measure our success against (simply because of the size and historic position and resources we have) and fans of historically 'smaller' clubs havent a clue. Yes they would be grateful for a few cups, but we have different yardsticks. As much as i dislike what AW now is, and what he has done for my enjoyment of football (i haven't watched us even on MOTD all season i don't think), i will always thank him for wehat hes done and a lot of people will when he finally goes, even if they a vociferous in their anger at him now - justifiably.
