I dont often comment on football threads but here goes anyway.
It was a thoroughly dominant display from Rangers. Hibs were completely outplayed in all senses of the word.
Of much more concern though was the bottle incident. It's a plague on the game for that to happen and it seems far too frequent. No professional sportsman deserves to have a bottle, cup of bovril, or in Neil Lennon's case, a punch thrown at them on the park by a so called fan.

When did that happen and I'll have a look back on the BT app if the game is there?

The vodka half bottle that landed beside Barisic when he was down injured after the red card incident. When did that happen and I'll have a look back on the BT app if the game is there?
The pundits on BT sport said it came from as far back as row 30 so thrown with a fair bit of force

Absolutely. Especially concerning since there have been bottles thrown (at Celtic players?) and rangers players attacked previously in recent months. It was a thoroughly dominant display from Rangers. Hibs were completely outplayed in all senses of the word.

“Hibernian will review CCTV footage to identify the culprit after a glass bottle was thrown at Rangers defender Borna Barisic at Easter Road on Friday.
Barisic was prone on the turf after a challenge that led to Ryan Porteous being sent off in Rangers' 3-0 Scottish Premiership win when missiles were seen landing on the pitch in his vicinity.”

Numerous incidents for both Rangers and Celtic players. I’m not sure if it happens in other games? It might do but just not as well publicised?mitchell6 said:

Tav got hit by a pie at Pittodrie, Morelos had stuff thrown at him at Fir Park. 3 consecutive away games for Rangers players they’ve had missiles thrown. mitchell6 said:

And Morelos gets sent off for reacting to 70 minutes of abuse from Motherwell fans ![wobble](/inc/images/wobble.gif)
Sutton called the red card spot on. The Hibs player planned to get the Rangers player the entire time.
The Morelos second yellow was merited. He ran past the Rangers fans to tell the Motherwell fans to "get it up them". That was always going to get an angry response.
I know they give him abuse, but as covered here before players/managers can't do that.

Sad reflection on Scottish football and culture. There'll be more of the same on Friday.
Where are you? Rangers were playing, nothing to say? How convenient. Also, was your post I quoted actually a threat? It seems odd how you were able to predict the thuggery on display from the Hibs fans tonight. A little too suspicious actually. Perhaps I'll screenshot it and forward to Police Scotland for investigation.
I was at the game last night. Rangers players and Rangers fans were better behaved than usual, if that’s what you’re getting at.
A few songs had to be drowned by us booing, usual sectarian flags everywhere, players goading fans. But much better than usual.

Friday before Christmas. I only seen small bit.
Never seen you here before?
Hahahahahahahaha the self appointed thread police is here. (You've not changed. How dare someone new post!)Never seen you here before?
Or, Captain Excuses as he's also known by. Conveniently only sees parts of Rangers games when they win but analyses the full 90 mins in detail when they lose.

I post to say I never seen it, which I didn't, and I get attacked again. I was actually stuck at work.
I guess the downside to Friday night games is people drink too much.

I can't quite understand when your team wins the first thought is to hit PH and get all argumentative.

You’re not far wrong. Rangers were impressive at times. Below average performance from Hibs and we got exactly what we deserved. The Porteous tackle was an absolute shocker and deserved the red and whatever punishment comes his way. Dust ourselves down and onto Hearts next week. Come on then Edinburger let’s be hearing some condemnation of your team and fans.
Condemnation of team? Nope. Porteous tackle? Yes. Condemnation of fans? Yes. The idiot(s) who threw bottle and coins.
Condemnation of Rangers fans antagonising Hibs fans? Yes, but won’t be heard publicly. Rangers criticise Scott Brown for that and turn a blind eye when their own do it.
Condemnation of Rangers fans? Yes, always. But saw better behaviour last night.

He is an absolute animal. Hope he leaves soon.
Watched the game on the box.
We were second best in every metric. Rangers just didn't allow us the build any momentum. A very impressive performance.
The Porteous 'tackle' (it was more an assault) was ridiculous. He wasn't even considering where the ball was, he was trying to seriously hurt the man. He deserves a long, long ban. Moronic, thuggish behaviour.
The bottle incident? The SPL need to start handing out ground closures.
The handbags between the benches would have been funny if it didn't incite the fans to act in a similarly idiotic way.
I didn't hear sectarian stuff on the tv audio, but I'm always getting grief because imo they're just words. Choose to take offence if you wish, but to me they cause me no harm and just identify those who I can then choose not to interact with.

You’re 100% right with your condemnation of the Hibs missile throwers and Porteous. He is an absolute animal. Hope he leaves soon.
Morelos has been a much improved player and person this season. On the latter, staff at Rangers say he is integrating better now his English is improving, a lot of it down to the departure of Candeias as the two stuck together a lot.
Have you considered how calling a visitor to our country an “absolute animal” and wishing his departure could be construed? This is one of the most talented immigrants we have seen in the country and you’ve let yourself down with that sort of metaphor. See how you get on at Easter Road with a banner telling him to go home.
