Has to be the most manic year of football I've ever witnessed.
I bet the poor, hapless fecker wishes he'd never heard of Manchester United. I also bet he wishes he remembered the old saying "The grass is always greener"
After the character assassination he's now suffering I think he'll be off the radar for a fair while.
I hope he has the balls to spill the beans and tell us all what went on there...........he'd probably earn more off that book than he would have seeing out his contract.

He couldn't handle the job, reckon he underestimated what was involved and he looked like he struggled with the media hype. I think his biggest mistake was sacking the back room staff, but he spoilt his relationship with us over the Baines and Fellaini saga, which is a great shame for all concerned. I hope he goes abroad but have a feeling he will join villa.

Spot on. I have a feeling he'll be at the spuds next season. So many firms fail when a "new boss" arrives at a successful company, I've seen it.
They get the job, and where the sensible ones would let things continue as they are making small but decisive improvements without alienating the current staff some want to "put their stamp" on at, as the cliché goes.
Wtf with the backing and advice he could have taken on board from SAF, Giggs and as you say the existing backroom staff did he decide to embark on his own unfathomable route. He could have bluffed his way through the first year surely and would have come out with a pat on the back.
All very strange.

The talk is that he will get 2 years money, so just £12m in compensation, only in football!
Sounds as though we will be without Distin and Miralles for the run in, I guess Jags should be fit and we will see more of Delefeou and McGeady. I just hope this goes down to the wire, would fancy our chances if that happens because I think Arse would bottle it. Anyone know if fifth would be good enough for CL if Chelsea win it?

I doubt it will happen, bound to be a gagging clause in there somewhere. Extra mill to keep his mouth shutBlue62 said:

If Arse dont get CL (because we do), but win the FA cup, Euro league will go down to 7th, so manu U would qualify! Lol.
