hehe I quite like him on the radio, but as a television presenter he's embarassing.
Not a fan personally, he's just so in love with himself

I wonder what he'd be like in the modern formation.....he was a great natural finisher but doesn't strike you as someone that could play alone up top ? He was brilliant in 4-4-2 though.

Very much like Jermaine Defoe now, I think small out and out finishers are being pushed out of the game by newer 4-3-3, 4-5-1 formations.

Squad for tonight:

11 Andre Santos
12 Olivier Giroud
14 Theo Walcott
15 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
18 Sebastien Squillaci
20 Johan Djourou
22 Francis Coquelin
23 Andrey Arshavin
26 Emmanuel Frimpong
29 Marouane Chamakh
36 Damian Martinez
38 Martin Angha
40 Hector Bellerin
46 Thomas Eisfeld
47 Serge Gnabry
54 Ignasi Miquel
60 James Shea
64 Nico Yennaris

Keep an eye out for 47 Serge Gnabry. Age 17. German. Went on the pre season training camp in Germany with the first team a few months ago and Wenger rates him highly. Similar type of player to OX and Theo apparently.

Really want to see Gnabry, Eisfeld, Shea and Miquel start tonight. Hopefully Miquel we will be partnering Djourou instead of Squid.

I think Le Boss should stick Theo down the middle to give him his chance. I don't agree with him speaking to the press about it, but let's give him an opportunity to show what he can do.

No disrespect to Coventry but if he can't do it against a deflated team then we pretty much know he's better on the wing.

Is Wenger not in a difficult position of appearing to bow down to media pressure if he plays Walcott through the middle?

Perhaps, but considering he was originally a striker he might as well see what he can do. Maybe whack him on as a sub.

I can see Giroud starting this one.

Not just me then. Was hoping to see more of Eisfeld. Looked good in pre season.

Missed penalty frown I really hope his confidence grows. Does look like he could be a good player for us.

3-0 up.

Surely time to take The Ox off now with a view to Saturday?

Thinking the same thing. Didn't want him playing to be honest.
