£100 salary? You’ve done well with that! smile

In terms of comparison with Haaland, surely that’s got to be mentioned every single week same as Pogba and Maguire have been due to the prices of other players in their positions.

Is Mason Greenwood training with United again? I haven't seen anything from a proper News Outlet, but it's all over Twitter that 'Mason Greenwood has been relieved from all charges levied against him and he will join the MUFC squad for the pre-season tour'.

Apologies if this has already been discussed above, but I didn't see anything. Is this for real?

Not sure how to break this to you gently, but here goes.

Twitter isn’t real news. It’s a place where people can post anything and then idiots copy and paste it and other people then believe it. You know how your Gran used to make st up about that other woman down the road? Twitter is the modern version of that.

Now ask yourself if you think it’s true when none of the police, United, his agent, or the real press have reported it at all.

I'm fully aware Twitter isn't real news, which is looked for confirmation from a proper news establishment. News has been known to leak on Twitter before official press announcements (i.e. Confirmed Transfers/Bids etc) and it's trending on there with thousands of tweets saying the same thing. I was merely asking if there was any merit to what was being said... I know what Twitter can be like the majority of the time.

Alright well, cheers anyway.

I’d have thought checking online for a more mainstream source would have given you a more accurate reply though. What if I’d said “yep, absolutely true and they’ve even started negotiations on a new long term contract worth £300k a week”?

Would you have believed it? My source might well have been either Dave from the pub, or autobot1234 from wherever.

The little blue tick means they are verified, it's literally the 2nd result when you search his name

Also having heard the audio while he may wangle himself out of a rape charge I'd rather he disappears from our club ASAP personally

It’s weird how an answer written with more than a degree of sarcasm and absolutely no anger gets read by someone as me needing to chill out. Probably a cultural thing as plenty don’t get the how direct the Irish can be whilst being totally chilled.

Could this have an impact on our spending this summer? The Glazers are still taking out their dividends in June though rolleyes

I suppose it’s good news really - less potential for the Glazers to carry on without spending money on the ground and players and more potential for a prospective purchaser to arrive with an offer.

Not as long as they can keep drawing the expected amount of cash each period. That'll mean there'll be less money to spend on players and therefore the potential that you'll become even worse and less valuable - attracting the wrong kind of suitors. On this occasion you want them to keep spending money on the club, if only to keep up with the clubs around you.

What difference does it make? The stock price is down because the whole market is down, more so than the club's performance. I can't see the Glazers taking any less out of the club than they have been taking every year, unless sponsorships are down due to not getting into the Champions League.

They'll say "work with less - after all, YOU got us in this position". Hot dogs and beer all round for the Glazers.

Really? Isn't he exactly the type of player you shouldn't be taking? You guys were mostly all criticising the recruitment policy of buying players at the end of their career and not bringing in players for the future?

Not a good move for me. I want to see us build a team for the future, not do what Jammy has said. He would have been a great signing when he left Spurs, but not now. Obviously he could turn into a world beater for us, but realistically how long will he be with us. I want to see an end to the older player joining us in their career twilight years. I’m sure someone will tell me that he’s only young, but he’s got a rather significant medical issue that will limit how long he can play for.
