Lol, what are the chances that Jelly was going to assist in the 1st world cup goal!
FFS he couldn't score for us last season.
That said I'd quite happily have him back next season.
He missed from 3 yards basically. If the Brazilian defender hadn't popped it in it would have gone past the far post.FFS he couldn't score for us last season.

Some positives coming out of the club over the past 48hrs.
Bobby signs a new 5 yr contract.
According to Blue Bill, he will be meeting Gareth Barry`s people early next month to ( i presume) finalise he permanent signing. (This falls in with what i was told about nothing happening till July)
We are still hopeful of convincing Romelu to stay.
Magaye Gueye has left the club, soon to be followed by Junior, and possibly a couple of other fringe players.
No more news on contracts for Hibbert,or McAleny which are on the table.

Hope you're right, contradicts what I was told but for me keeping Barry is as important as landing Lukaku. Really hope Barkley starts tonight, doubt Woy will trust him but he's one of the few England players who can turn a game.Bobby signs a new 5 yr contract.

What do you chaps think of Coleman? Arsenal are heavily linked as a replacement for Sagna. I don't know much about him but he seems to have some plaudits.
Late starter, cost £60k, less than most PL players weekly wage. Not the finished article, but still one of the best RB in the country now. Quick, can tackle and added goals this season, give him another couple of seasons, and the skys the limit. Very loyal, quiet lad still goes out with the same girlfriend from school, rare! very happy at Everton with the rest of his Irish team mates McCarthy, McGeady, Gibson and Duffy.New contract under negotiation. The chances of him going to Arsenal?
Slim to nil IMO, current value? c£20m
