It's hardly a new thing for an English team to be convincingly outclassed by Bayern Munich.
Atleast Chelsea spread the 7 goals over 2 games.

That should've been the final, the 2 strongest teams this season.

They didn't cause Liverpool any problems last year.

Just been sent the following:

Saves made by Karl-Johan Johnsson tonight: 13 (as of 112th minute) Saves made by Kepa Arrizabalaga since the restart: 13 Yes, that is a real stat.

Says it all. Not sure how we can get rid of the bloke.

Think I've put my views on him in here before, he's probably worth about 40m, but thankfully we are tough negotiators. Good left back, can carry the ball up the pitch well but doesn't really put in any great crosses and always just passes the ball backwards. For some reason he struggles to play with Harvey Barnes our other academy graduate, whenever one doesn't play the other one has a good game. He's only 23 though, could definitely improve in the future (hopefully he doesn't!) and go on to become a much better player, he's English too, so good for your European quotas and that will obviously push his price up slightly. It's always sad when an academy graduate goes, but he's probably the easiest player to replace in our first 11, and we always sell a first teamer every summer in order to reinvest. Selling Maguire and Chilwell will pay for our new world class training centre and our stadium expansion, with millions left over.

You'll have about 5 new starters come the first game of the season, it's always difficult to implement that many new players at once, so I'm curious to see if Lampard can manage it.

Could be a bit of a double edged sword for Frank, the board has certainly shown faith, but I don't think they'll accept losing to West Ham or Brighton this season.

He’s been heavily backed....all you can ask for as a manager. As you say there will be high expectations.

It's always hard to fit 5 or 6 new players into a first 11, no matter who the manager is. At least you'll have a good squad ready for all the extra games, I think going for the title is a bit out of reach, but fully expect you to be 3rd.

I will happily take Tammy if he falls out of favour in the next 6-12 months.
