Talksport reporting that Gerrard believes that Brendan would be a good England manager. With a style of play that would suit international football.
All starting to make some kind of sense now

Please let this be made up. Please. I'd rather have Rafa back when he inevitably alienates his best players and is forced from Madrid.kentlad said:

I'm pretty sure it's a load of old tosh too but if you check out his record compared to Mr Rodgers record it would make perfect sense FOR FSG.

Depends on your point of view. He's inherited a good Porto side and did well with them, but then inherited a good Chelsea side and was pretty rubbish and then widely disliked at Tottenham, despite grinding out some results. His win percentages are typical of an OK manager finding jobs at decent teams - and then Tottenham. His win percentage is really impressive.

Exactly. So as Bcm said, his managerial record is quite good compared to Mr Rodgers'.jammy_basturd said:
It depends whether you value taking good sides and sometimes performing very averagely with them over taking average sides and sometimes performing very well with them.
Depends how highly you value winning a treble and not losing a game in the league all season. Has Brendan won anything yet?Cie said:

UTD thgis weekend with 4 fully fit strikers - how different to last year
Rumours are that Ings is going to start - BCM will be happy
Will be interesting if he does go with Ings. And Hopefully that is Ings AND Benteke, not just Ings on his own! Would definitely get a thumbs up from me and exactly how we should have started the season IMO.Rumours are that Ings is going to start - BCM will be happy
