The Official Liverpool FC Thread [Vol 13]

From a Stoke perspective we were our usual dreadful selves until Hughes switched to 4-4-2 around the 25 minute mark and suddenly we took control of the game.
If that wasn't a red card for Mignolet I don't know what is.Might have been a completely different result, we'll never know now.
For all our huff and puff Liverpool still looked the more likely to score and bringing on Salah just reinforced that, he's deadly isn't he !
Allen had 1 of his best games of the season.
Time is ticking for Hughes, many of us were predicting our current position at the end of last season, he's pretty clueless and we'll probably go down if he sees the season out

This is what footy is all about. Like it or lump it; I'd be pretty sick if I was a Stoke fan though: Mings says he "had to bring him down"

Interesting (clever) bit of psychology from Mings here:
Mignolet said:
Asked whether he was worried Atkinson might send him off Mignolet added: “It never crossed my mind.
“I was trying to line the ball up [for the free-kick] after that and that is what maybe helped me as if I had tried to say ‘Oh it’s not a red card’ then maybe I’d have got one.”

Thought it was a poor decision to come out, the attacker had plenty to do and Matip could have pushed him wider. Minjgs decision making of when to come and when not is not the best.Thought it was accidental foul, Mings took a swing at the ball and the attacker was quicker and made a nice touch to take it away, bit disingenuous (and dumb) to claim it was deliberate.
Could certainly been a red but perhaps the presence of Gomez gave the ref an excuse not to give it.
Great result though and nice to see we can rest PC and Salah for some of the game

I've put us down for a 0-3 win but then again I also put Watford down for a win last night
What are the lottery numbers?Bit gutted to have only seen the match on MOTD. Tried but couldn't find anywhere decent to watch it. How did Solanke do?
