What have you done? Won't we need to get through the qualifying games for that money?

Well done. frown
yes

Thats what I said, if we qualify.

We'll be fine, we'll have Bale, Ronaldo and Messi smile

I'd take Kane in a heartbeat. Proper striker.

As a fan yes. Kane isn't a 45m player yet. 25-30 maybe, but Levy loves his Utd tax. But then the bar is set for a young promising striker who manages a decent season and they are all 45m. Then we have to listen to the Spuds moaning on about money ruining the game.

I don't know about Keyser, but for me point is for £45m. If he was half that then I'd be delighted. I think we can spend that kind of money somewhere else and it'll help the team more. If it doesn't change our spending for other positions then it wouldn't be so bad, but I do think it's very steep. Same reasons I'd be embarrassed if we signed Bale for the figures reported.

Its not that I don't rate Kane I said as much on the Spud thread but 45m is madness

Have 15m and Nani or Chich and yeah cool

it makes fk all difference to you if its 30 or 45m - prices to watch will not go down

You would soon forget 45m if he bagged 25 for you

Apologies of this is a pea-roast.
Andy Mitten on Yahoo Sport is very certain that DDG has declined £200k/week to go to Real.
Even being the highest paid keeper in the world and playing ECL footy cannot, apparently, persuade him and his Mrs. to stay at United.
Tough life being a superstar's spouse then...

Not that I think there's any truth in it, but surely Luke Shaw sets your target price range.

You paid 34mil for a young English defender that had done nothing of note. Kane is a young English forward with a 30 goal season to his name and an international goal.

Then add the new TV deal and his new 5 year contract and he's going nowhere cheap.

totally agree - shaw at 30m + means without doubt you pay 40m+ for Kane

I don't know who your post is aimed at. If it's me or Keyser then yeah, that's why we don't want him, because we'd spend a stupid amount on him. You wouldn't find us saying £30m for Shaw was a good price either.
