I genuinely cannot believe some of the stuff you've posted about spurs. Talk about tempting fate...

I'm quietly confident, but the key word is quietly
We’ve just dismantled Barcelona, literally ripped them to shreds. Messi and Suarez, arguably the two best players in the world didn’t get a sniff. If we can’t be confident after that then maybe some of you should take up a new hobby. I am certain we will beat Spurs, my only issue is that I won’t be there to see it this time.
I am confident we can beat spurs, I was also confident we'd get past Barca, but like I said quietly confident.

I think the team losing at half time has a good chance to go on and win it. smile

There’s a line between confidence and arrogance though and you appear to be crossing it IMHO

You're not alone in that assumption.

Absolutely, City are a much better team than Barcona.

Dunno about 'hands down' it's close, but I'd agree City are better than Barca from what I've seen from both sides this season.

I think more Barcelona players would get in the City team than vice versa.

With Bin Zayed agreeing to take over Newcastle (he is the half brother of Sheikh Mansour), the Top 4 could get even more interesting over the next few years.

Quite. And Barca, incl Messi, got several sniffs at Anfield - fortunately they weren't taken/Allisson saved.

That's galling, frankly. If he pumps in anything like City have had, it will make it even more like Monopoly football than it is now...

It’ll be great for the competition for the Premier League. A top 6 becomes a top 7.

European Super League?

It’s already here and we’re watching it play-out weekly in England.

Of course, Etihad Airways, not content with the publicity they currently get with Man City, have been on the look out for another Northern recipient of another half billion pound sponsorship deal. It'll be no coincidence that they award this sponsorship deal to Newcastle just months after they're bought by the crown prince.

Having said that, I am quite looking forward to Rafa finally getting the backing he deserves should it all go through.

It will only become a 'Top 7' if utd finish 7th, Sky don't recognise any other sides wink

Wonder how the mood will be in here in exactly 7 days time ? I'm already very excited and nervous all at the same time
We’ll be celebrating. I simply cannot see any scenario where we lose to Spurs. We are a much better team in every area, on current form there isn’t one Spurs player who would get in to our starting XI. I’d settle for a comfortable 3-0 win.
Probably the worst take on the final I've read.

Current form? We won't have played for 3 weeks.

Much better in every area? That's, at best, being ignorant of players with the quality of Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Alli, Kane etc.

Sure they've had injury problems but they've had a few weeks and anyone expecting an easy game is barking up the wrong tree in my opinion.

Hope I'm wrong naturally.

I'm torn. On the one hand, yes Chelsea and City make a mockery of competition with their blatant piss taking, on the other hand my father in law is a Newcastle season ticket holder, Ashley hater and doesn't like Chelsea/City for those reasons. It'll be good fun making sure he doesn't change his tune if they go mental with the money.
