I am in your camp.

Everything points towards a Citeh victory next Sunday and title glory - but it ain't over yet - I remain a believer.
I admire your passion, belief and your commitment to the cause and all that - but look at the facts! It ain't gonna happen in all honesty is it?

You can hope, but hope is all you got.

Win or lose it's been an incredible season with a huge points haul for both you an City, thank you to you both for making the EPL once more prove it is one of the best, if not the best league in the world.

Well said.

On target for 86 to 89 points apiece for the top two. It is worth noting just how far ahead of the other clubs City and United are. For all the hype around Spurs and Newcastle they're 20 points behind. The derby was a bit of a let down as City were on the up and United fading, but as entertainment the EPL is the best for me.

I agree with many of the comments here that United have failed to always impress. The home games I've attended have lacked the early season vibrancy but £ for £ SAF is the best in the business and I would not write off our chances next season, even if this one looks to be over. Taking it to the wire is real sport, and we can't expect to win every year.

I am proud to be a united fan right now.
Whatever happens next sunday will not change that. To be as close as we are to city and be ahead of the other teams by so much considering the players we have lost over the last few seasons is amazing.
In the last few years we have lost:
Van der sar- Our best keeper since the great dane
Tevez-you may hate him but you cannot deny he is a great player.
Ronaldo- Well what can you say about him?, arguably the best player to play for the club.
Scholes- albeit for half a season
G nev- To be honest he was getting a bit old but still he was part of the golden generation that came through the ranks

They are some pretty good players that needed to be replaced and while we have replaced some of them, we have not fully replaced all of them.
With some good purchases in the summer i have no doubt we will be challenging again next year and i also predict a good european run. semi finals at least.

+1. City will not have it all their own way despite what some of their more extreme supporters seem to think. They will lose games just like everyone else.

to be fair I've never heard anyone say it's going to be all our own way- quite the opposite infact, you can't have followed City for any length of time without expecting a foul up at any moment.

Utds biggest asset by far is SAF.
He's managed to turn Utds most average team in a long time into a league (almost laugh ) winning side.
Unfortunately time is everyones enemy and it;s got to start telling on him soon.

when do you guys think SAF will actually step down....and who on earth would replace him?

No doubt SAF is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, British club managers of all time - but while his passion for each game remains undimmed, does he need the stress for much longer? Maybe he lives for it ... and won't ever quit.

He has made a few tactical and team decisions in thebig games that can be criticised in the last couple of years though (Utd fans talking, not me)

Utd fans must wonder who will follow him though and who can keep the club at or near the top.

Is Scholes playing next season btw? Giggs should go now, the games are passing him by to a large extent imo.

I think when health dictates, people took Guardiola having 12mths off and made assumptions but I think it is more likely to be Moyes, he could cope with SAF being upstairs and still having an eye on things, not sure other managers could

Moues would not take any crap from player, which falls in line with SAF. I'm still not sure how he would cope with having a transfer budget though.

No sign of Pogba on the bench lately & I read something the other day about him going to Juventus - do we think he's gone?

The hype from Juventus was a while ago so i think its that being regurgitated and he's had a couple of tasters since then but I think he was injured in training which is why he hasn't been around much of late. Will he stay, will he go? I don't know but I wont lose sleep either way as exciting as a prospect he may be.

We have some exciting looking youngsters coming through with Petrucci, the Keane brothers Lingard and a few others so it's not as gloomy as it looks, I hope.

I have no doubt that we will go out and buy this season, who, i'm not sure but I think we need a right back that can defend, a playmaker for the mid field and I think we need an out an out goal scorer because as much as I like Hernandez and Welbeck I just can't see them cutting the mustard at United.

Seriously? Hernandez hasn't played much this year but Welbeck has been great. He's only young and given another couple of seasons him and Rooney will be electric IMO.

Seriously. I think Welbeck has potential, he has been far from great this season, he has no first touch and his decision making is poor. I agree Hernandez hasn't played much but when he has come on I wouldn't have said he looks the same threat that he once did, he will probably get better with more match time as will Welbeck will we be able to wait?

He thrives on it, he'll never quit. The passion and grit the man shows for someone of his age is mesmerising IMO. There'll never be another manager like him.

Agree with that - some of Welbeck's movement has been great but I'll admit I've been struggling to understand why everyone has been saying he's "all that". His goal tally isn't that great either. One of the best first touch players in the squad (Berbatov) has spent most of the season on the Bench - the one time I did see him play (cup game I think) he worked very hard & I don't understand why he hasn't had more of an opportunity. I don't believe he wouldn't have nicked 10-15 goals minimum.

Hernandez is definitly short of game time as well, but also, as always happens, once players have been around for a year or so, the opposition have figured out how to handle him a bit better too. I still think SAF needs to transition Rooney into the Scholes role. Maybe he will do so in a year or two, but it needs doing before Rooney's pace starts to drop off IMO.

Visited Old Trafford for the first time last weekend, Swansea supporter so first time in a generation. You have an amazingly historic home, Young looked your best player by a country mile, SAF at least faced up to reality in his post match address.

What surprised me most? Despite the noisy neighbours result in the early kick off, just how flat the place was. Not sure if that was about the blue side of town, ourselves as opposition ...................... or something else.

See you next year.

The flat atmosphere isn't a surprise, I didn't even celebrate the two goals. The players didn't either.

edit: I would like to say though that Swansea is a fixture I'll be looking forward to next year smile
