Funny, I was just thinking I wouldn't have him on the plane. He's a show pony who can't even really be called a mercurial talent like Le Tiss, Marsh etc. I'd rather have Rashford & Sterling in the squad, they're inconsistent & frustrating but have more overall productive output than Grealish.

I’ve always said Grealish is a great player, but he is more likely to play the ball that leads to the ball. Playing him this far forward doesn’t play to his strengths. He needs to be picking the ball up around the half way line, taking a few touches to draw players in before releasing a player.

It hasn’t helped him that there seems to be a very strange plan involving Lewis. He keeps moving inside and forward, isolating Grealish and drawing defenders into the box, exactly where you don’t want them.

Not convinced about Trent’s contribution in that position.
