It’s been in the transfer gossip pages for a month or so,but aside from that I’ve no clue about him.
I must say I find the whole transfer fee/salary thing so obscene now it actually puts me off football a bit.

I’m now at the age where my Dad gave up completely on football, his distaste came when in his view wages became obscene when Robbo got a contract paying him £100k a year.

I’m seeing the latest TV deal as obscene and the transfer fees are just ridiculuous. I remember when Waddle going to Marseille for £5m was mind blowing and many years later even the Shearer / Keane deals around £3.5m were frightening figures. Won’t be long before that's the average net weekly wage in the PL at the rate we’re going.

At some point soon the bubble will burst as the older fans walk away from live football and the younger generation can’t afford to watch it / be involved. Foreign markets are great, especially the Middle / Far East, but won’t deliver full houses

People have been saying attendance would suffer for about as long as they've been moaning about wages. Hasn't happened and never will imo.

Same, I panicked a bit as I remember a Fred who was dire, think he may have been a striker though

Interestingly on the Caf the player most are saying he is like is Keita so that'll be interesting.

Most seem to think he'd replace Harry in the midfield 3 with Pog and Matic and would be a decent upgrade on him
