Dunno, sorry frown

Familiar story with Bruce with us after an initial good spell. Shocking formations, folk out of position, the lot. A tale as old as time.

I still think that you'll be fine come the tail end of the season but I wait with baited breath for the day that the "they never accepted me cos ah wor a sunlun' manager" crap starts like when he used the Geordie link after we started giving him pelters.

Note - we gave him pelters because come the end he was fuggin' ste.

"Come the end" suggests he was any good to start with.

Quite. Don’t dispute he cares, and I know someone who knows him very well and he’s a decent fella by all accounts, but, and it’s a big one, he’s not good enough for this level in my opinion. That’s my only issue with him, in fact it’s less with him and more with the clowns who appointed him.

Hard season ahead, very hard.

He was alright for us to start with, tbh, but he lost the plot and bought some absolute ste to replace players who were on their way out. Then the baffling formations started - woeful.

I assume knew Bruce knew nothing about the players that were signed, that they were deals done by ma

The deals were done above him so he works with what he has been given. We've had a fairly resolute defence these last few seasons even if the football hasn't been champagne and it was one area I thought we were good at however in the 2 games we've had, they're like a completely different back line. They've got no organisation and when we push forward it all goes to st.

It's early days but the promise for the forwards is quickly evaporating, especially as they seem to be queueing up to get on to the treatment table.

It’s almost as though you had a manager who made a team that was more than the sum of its parts but started with a solid foundation and organisation and then added flair given sufficient funds and time.

Then added some flair but ditched the good manager who made the foundation and organisation

Unbelievable Jeff

I know! Don't you think MA is getting the hang of this football thing now?

They certainly get bigger attendances than Liverpool.

Cracking result for you lot, always good to see the fancy Dans getting turned over as well. Not the most entertaining match but it's the result that matters thumbup

Well, well.

My meddling worked! I transferred JL out of my FPL team this week due to Newcastle not looking like scoring.

Happy days.
