Alongside a slow Matic and non exist Mata. He has been over run in midfield.
We have been very sloppy in possession. As per all season we are just too slow moving the ball.
In the second half definitely. We’ve been pedestrian at best. C’est la vie. We were never going to win the league and we’ve proper messed with the Scousers here. If we stupidly prevent the game from happening on Thursday then I’ll be more than a bit unhappy. We have been very sloppy in possession. As per all season we are just too slow moving the ball.

Well, we got most of the team rested, no injuries. Anything else would have been a bonus following the nonsensical rescheduling so no complaints really.
Can't say any expectations were confounded either by any of the second string. Amad looks bright and one for the future for sure, Elanga confident for his age & Tuanzebe pretty solid. We know what we get from Mata, Matic and co and got precisely that - not enough to compete with a strong Leicester midfield, which was where the game was won.
Hopefully we can put in a better showing against Liverpool, bit of a blow Maguire being out though. After tonight I'd be starting Tuanzebe over Bailly I think, earned it more - can imagine they might both get 45.
Maddison celebrating like they'd achieved something special though

Inevitable. We put out a side to lose the game. Liverpool can fairly be furious.
DVB was just terrible. I really like Tuanzebe.
Yep, add Tuanzebe to the list ORD. He did really well tonight. If Maguire is not fit for the final in 2 weeks, who plays at CB?DVB was just terrible. I really like Tuanzebe.
Bailly for me but which one of Lindelof / Tuanzebe?
No harm done trying a new line up tonight. We simply can't afford to risk Bruno etc playing for 2nd or 3rd. The game on Thursday is still a dead rubber other than for local pride and rivalry. The idiots who cancelled the original game have a lot to answer for putting everyone in this position. If they block it again Thurs then just award Liverpool the 3 points.

Agreed. As I said at the time, they’ve hurt our season.ORD said:

get a grip man anybody would think you played for them.... or even lived near them
As a City part-timer; you wouldn’t know what it feels like to support a club. Your club died years ago and was replaced with a playground for oil money. ORD said:

Don't talk nonsense. We've had our ups and downs same as United, They won now't during Fergie's first four years, and were relegated in the seventies.
I have to say, well done to OGS, he's a very good manager, and one of football's nice guys.
I'm pleased United are on the up.....
Should be an interesting season next time.
