Not forgetting of course that if you put Shaw, Herrera and Rojo in there and already the team looks a million times better....
Without a doubt. I am not writing you off after two games, that would be crazy!Bet you all had a major face palm moment when some of those names on the team sheet appeared!
Not great today at all, we definitely need Di Maria and I think we'll switch to a 4-1-2-1-2
Rafael--Jones---Rojo----Shaw
Carrick/New DM------
---Hererra-----Di Maria----
Mata---------
---Rooney-------RvP------
Di Maria had his best season last season as a CM
The new DM would be DeJong, Silva or Blind according to the papers

Jesus we're about to sign a world class winger/midfielder and you are doubting it? I know i would prefer him on the wing than Young....
So you're going to play Di Maria as a wing back? Amazing player, no doubt whatsoever. On his own he's not going to be enough for you though. Lets see who else you bring in.

It's a lot of money but he's a great player. And yeah it may not be a priority position for United but just because they've signed a winger it doesn't mean they can't then sign a defender and central midfielder - I assume Unt are not short of money at the moment.
Interested to know how many of the long term sponsors - like the kit deal - will feel if Man Utd fail to qualify for Europe again this year? I'd be amazed if there wasn't a considerable performance based caveat to nearly all Man Utd sponsorship deals, as surely, the value of the deal to the sponsor is dependant on maximum exposure, not just the EPL (accepting just how much value that on its own has). The £63.2 mil deal includes 3 years wages (the point before move on clause). It's close to 40mil with add on's. Media will only quote high numbers.
Also in advance talks with a CB from the prem (Vlaar,?? Not sure.)
Bad news is cleverly isn't going anywhere, neither is Anderson at this rate as we believe his market value is £6 mil. Every other team finds that funny.

Manchester United could lose more than £20 million a year from a record-breaking kit deal with Adidas if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
The team's £750 million 10-year deal with the German's sportswear giant will be cut by 30 per cent if they fail to qualify for the tournament for two consecutive seasons starting 2015/16.
