3-1 to Leicester!

I feel you’re possibly being a bit too conservative if anything wink

Gadge - think you have an error in the table - I got the Chelsea / Bournemouth score correct 2 0
You did indeed scratchchin

I'll add 4 points to your next matchdays total as t it didn't give you any points at all for that game and he spreadsheet won't let me do it retrospectively.

I don't actually add the points up the spreadsheet does it so I'm a little confused and will have to monitor it more closely next time as I've never known it to be wrong before.

Can only be human error somewhere really.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention Dan as I'd rather nip any errors in the bud before they become a real issue.

Can everyone please check their scores if possible. If I don't hear back from you I'll assume it's just a glitch with Dans forecasts.

Thanks.

Well done Mattyn1, I think you are correct, it should be number/space/number only. Extra spaces could well be the problem.

As for 40 games - again you are correct. I'll amend on the next SS. It's the only column I fill in manually and sometimes it gets forgotten what with all of the data sorting etc. Luckily it's not important in terms of table placement. In fact, over the Christmas period it's a pain in the arse.

You're doing well and clearly positioning yourself for a shot at running the Predictathon next season. I'll second you right now smile

And you're spreadsheet savvy which is always better than letting some fool with pencil and children's graph paper take over hehe

Oh, you'll need to avoid relegation though. Rule 14 on page 1 applies as we have a full house this season.

Some say I am a bit of a weirdo when I say I quite like knocking Spreadsheets up - maybe I am! But I thought I would have a go at doing one for this when I started playing..... the only bit I have not managed to work out is the matching correct results with an incorrect score - I can visualise the formula in my head loosely - but i need some time to work it properly - so in mine I have been doing that manually.

Matching a correct score guess to the actual score is dead easy - as long as we don't have too many <spaces> in the predictions!

And I would wager avoiding relegation would be easier than building a spreadsheet to fully automate this game!
If you want a copy of the spreadsheet with the system and formulas revealed then PM me.

It’s a bargain at only £40 biggrin

Excel should get rid of any extra spaces at the end when you paste the scores in... or it used to, anyway.
I've just checked and it does so that makes this incident curious. I can only assume it's a glitch.

However, hopefully everyone is checking their scores at least for one matchday so that they know the formula is working for them.

On another note I've been offered the opportunity to get away for a week from this Saturday so I'm taking it. I'll publish Matchday 6's fixtures just before I go this Friday but it means there will be no table published on Monday. I'll amalgamate the two matches in my return and publish the table the following Monday.

I'll have my phone with me but I can't do the spreadsheet on that, it's too fiddly.

Show weakness and they’ll all exploit it.

“Oh please, my gran died” weeping

“My kids have been kidnapped...” cry

“My dog’s eaten my predictions” frown

Without discipline all is lost.

Matchday 6 = 60 games played (10 games per matchday). I didn't produce a table last week as I was on holiday so this week's table includes 2 matchdays. See the last post on page 16 of this thread.
