OK, fair point...
I'm glad we cleared that up. Teams 17 points ahead of you aren't teams around you. yes

Correct, neither are teams who only got 1 point out of a possible 6 from 2 matches with us.

Oh wow, that must be great. We're used to having things to show for it at the end of a season here and I'm not talking about DVDs. hehe

Why bother winning stuff just to get your arse handed to you by yet another Spanish club the following season?

Nah, we'll stay at home and watch thanks. whistle

Deuce.

so can Wigan, is beating United the highlight of your year? it certainly seems so, pretty sad really. In other news this is the most stupid and idiotic article I have ever read in my life:-

http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,120...

Stelling thinks that Bale is better than Ronaldo.

"What Bale's got that Ronaldo hasn't is incredible strength and power"

"Ronaldo is quick but when Bale gets up a head of steam, there's no stopping him."

Apart from any decent defender he comes up against. Its laughably bad how little journalists and presenters know about football. One good game every 5 and he is better than Ronaldo? Ronaldo has scored more in a season than the overrated chimp in his whole career and does it week in week out no matter the opposition.

No, Rafael had him in his pocket (as usual) with Jones helping out the full back as all right midfielders do. Try watching a football game and you will see this.

Good luck with that.

Not so long ago he was over hyped. A number of people who support Man U even went as far to say that Cleverly (sp?) was better. Hilarious.

Jack is a grounded chap, and I can't see him going anytime soon. Mind you I said that about RVP at the beginning of last season frown
Would love him at United, he epitomises everything I want in a United player. I think he will be a one club man and stay out his career at Arsenal.

Cleverly is alright for someone who cant shoot or head the ball!
Agree with all this except maybe the grounded chap! Would love to see him at United. Just can't ever see him leaving Arsenal. He is exceptionally talented and will go on to be one of Englands greats. Has a great career ahead of him, just hope he has put all the bad luck with injuries behind him so we get to see lots of him play. The only problem with him at Arsenal is he seems to be the only one who wants to grab a game by the scruff of the neck.

you are making yourself look as silly as Stelling. Every match going Tottenham supporter that I know thinks that Bale is very inconsistent. Rafael has always had the better of Bale as he neuralises his one asset of pace.

He's still better than any one of the options we have though. No?

" Bale is very inconsistent" rofl Leave off senseless

At least there are one or two sensible posters on this thread, SAF would move heaven & earth to get this jewel

one good game in 5 in general, I will give you he looks good against dross like Norwich and Austria very rarely shows up in the big games. He gets away with it at a small club like Spurs but when he leaves and he is expected to do it week in week out thats when he will get found out.

I suppose you're correct if your idea of a successful season is saving on your clubs travel costs.

Spurs are exceptional at that in Europe. smile

And there's me thinking that one of the things that makes Ronaldo stand out is his incredible 'strength and power'. Bale is a good player, but better then Ronaldo is complete crap. And I think even the most deluded spud fan would agree.

We've been here digifail, and you've been proven wrong by just about every commentator and now I'll do it again...

"One good game every 5" you say.

Or is it Man of the Match in his last 2 games with a "wonder goal" in the 3rd.

YOU need to actually watch a match or two before posting.
