Looking at the last minute rumour mill it appears Utd have passed up any interest in the mandzukic (?) Deal which is also good news given we obviously were not interested at the start of the window.
Lukaku is having a medical and £74m back in is good business given the rubbish season he had. You never know they may throw Sanchez in with the deal too.

Well we’ve got what we’ve got and we need to back Ole with it. Big season for a few of the young lads but in pre season they’ve all looked more than up to the challenge. Most importantly we’ve got a solid back 4 for the first time in years and will actually give confidence to the lads in front of them.
Saw an interesting idea on twitter before and that’s to have Tuanzebe as a holding mid. He’s strong, fast and clever on the ball so not a bad idea in my mind!

Yep. He has the attributes to be a good player. I would rather play him than watch Matic fall to pieces.Saw an interesting idea on twitter before and that’s to have Tuanzebe as a holding mid. He’s strong, fast and clever on the ball so not a bad idea in my mind!

I’m happy with our signings-As said above,I don’t want players that don’t want to come to Utd.we have on paper a very decent back four-we Bloody didn’t last season.im glad Lukaku is gone at last, time for the kids to shine.
I would have liked to have signed a quality midfielder so we could out Pogba,I still think he will disrupt everyone else, but we are where we are.another couple of quality signings in January perhaps.
I’m much more excited than I was this time last year!!!

Overal looking at what some clubs have done in very happy we've gone about this right for once. We won't win anything I suspect, champions league qual will be the aim and further development.
Liverpool have done nothing new and are crossing fingers it all works out well again.
City just keep going. Chelsea I suspect are screwed with not much in and lots out plus a new manager. Spurs- meh- they won't win the league again, no change there.
Arsenal- no idea what their random plans are/were. Possible meltdown coming.

I think the three signings the club have made are good BUT we are woefully short in midfield, that’s with Pogba on board, one or two injuries and it’s all hands on deck.
The owners have had a nett spend of around £70m.....great close season for them

And up front. Martial won’t turn up for half the games. Rashford is a one man team. The owners have had a nett spend of around £70m.....great close season for them

The only positive I can take from not replacing donkey, is greenwood. Absolutely has to play now.
And Woodward is a complete fking idiot.

My fear is that Pogba poisons the young lads Gomes, Greenwood, AWB, Chong like he influences Rashford and Lingard. If they adapt the wrong mindset it could all go wrong for them.
From what I’ve read from people within the club it was actually Lukaku who was the one spreading the negativity. Pogba is going to be mega for us this year and it’s a huge season for McTominay but he’s well up for it. Really like the lad and he fights for the badge.Pogba will be fine. Our play will evolve and altho we may need another world class midfielder, that may have to wait till next summer. Overall we have a much stronger squad (too large tbh) than last season.
Just looking at spending charts and villa are the big hitters this time. Liverpool and Norwich some of the least. City as ever splashed large cash just where needed.
Spuds managed to chuck a shed load of cash around surprisingly, I believe by default that now makes it "their year"...
