It would be a pleasure mate, seriously, but I'm away for the Manyoo game, otherwise I would have been delighted to have bought you a beer at the Arsenal Tavern. Things haven't worked out well so far this season as I'm also missing the scum Spurs game on the 29th. I'm hoping to see both on satellite.....I will be attempting to get a ticket for the game at the Theatre of Prawns so maybe you can entertain me in Manchester? We could always meet at the usual place for United fans.........

So Liverpool...

In other words VivaMadridNaldo can jog on out of this thread please.
I really don't care if he has season ticket or not.

I know he has no place in a Liverpool thread, so ta, thanks, bye.

Right Kop fans, what are your predictions for PSV at home? Who is going to play and where?
Then Citey on Sunday, could be problematic as they will want to bounce back from today's loss.

psv 2-0, rafa only knows the line-up, guessing is futile.

1-0 away win at Citey.

Long shot, but does anyone have a spare for the trip to Citey?

I'd say we'll win 1-0 against PSV and a win against Citeh. I think Pool are aware if they win their next three games (one of which is Chelsea) we can start being more realistic about our title chances.

Keane and Torres seemed to 'click' on Saturday, that said Pool looked clumsy and were lucky not to have that penalty awarded with body check against Yakubu.

Can't see us beating Chelsea, a draw at Stamford Bridge would be a very good result.

Some difficult games coming up. We never do well at Chelsea, so a draw there would be a great result!, i also don't think wigan will be an easy game, though at least its at home so we've a good chance. Man City away is the type of game we really need to win if we're to mount a serious challenge. They had all that hype before they played chelsea at home, but Chelsea showed why they're contenders by beating them 3-1!

The Athletico Madrid game is also in the middle there too.

But...but...you've completely missed off THE big game you've got coming up...you know...away to the Carling Cup 'Champions'.

...Must have been an oversight on your part...yes

biggrin
hehe I did look at that one on the upcoming fixtures, but it may well be a good time to play Spurs! wink
Though i don't think it'll take that long for those good players to click and start winning games.

Plus we play you again in the Carling cup at the Lane not long after!. (I do have a slight soft spot for them as both my dad and younger brother are Spurs fans and i have been there a few times... )

Woohoo!!! Shame about the late PSV goal, but still 3-1 is a good result. With Keane getting his first, Kuyt continuing his Euro scoring spree and Gerrard getting his 100th at the kop end, what more could we ask. bounce

Indeed, great to see Keane getting his first, and the trademark Gerrard power shot. Moreso we looked solid and confident most of the game. Come on the 'Pool; keep it up!

Oh well, close.

fk me it was FREEZING at Anfield last night. Echo the sentiments above regarding Keane and Gerrard's goals. Let's not get too carried away, PSV (with a monsterous support of about 27 lads) were diabolical.

Good to see Kuyt score, but he's still got a worse first touch than my dog, and that's not even the best part of her game!
