I get what you mean but I was refering to Champions League, rather than European cup, the format changed to include more teams not just the league winners, widening the field and makeing a back to back a greater acomplishment; Barca have strengthened from last year it seems and no one could touch them then.

because if you are basing your prediction upon beating a lesser team 4-0 one game in, then it'll be a 50/50 man city and bolton...
one swallow etc etc...
