Probably scared to drop him for fear of the backlash, I think that's where some of his inexperience shows a little.

One of Poch's worst decisions to play him in the CL final. I think Kane has a bit too much sway for my liking.
Completely agree. It's not the first time it's happened either. For some reason when he comes back from injury he takes 3-4 games to get back into his stride but Poch insists on playing him.
I would agree, it was plainly obvious he wasn't match fit.

I would argue that because there's a lack of alternative (which has got worse this season).

Playing Kane was the right thing to do, he's our best player and he's been the life blood of the team during this last 5 years. I have no problem at all with the decision. Klopp would have done exactly the same with salad.

You win some you lose some it happens.

Playing Kane in the final is easy to criticise in hindsight - we were all hopeful of him being fit in time. Bear in mind that they had an extensive break until the final so plenty of time to have assessed him in training.

I can't believe Kane is fully fit. Really hope he's not trying to rush back again.

I think it's a massive risk starting with Kane as his first game back after a nasty injury. It's going to be a game played at 100 miles an hour with two teams pressing each other. Start with Moura and bring Kane on in the second half.
etc.

Not saying anything now that I didn't say before the game. It was a mistake to start him.

So tomorrow, will the team rally around the spanking or follow form and perform piss poor on the early saturday kick-off?

I don't think any EPL 12:30 kick off has ever been a classic has it? They're always poor games.

I'm expecting to see a positive reaction from the team with 90 minutes of proper commitment. The CL game got to 7 goals because they gave up.

Moura had scored a hatrick in the semi-final, obvious alternative to an unfit Kane no?

If Mr Pochettino had played Lucas Moura & the result was the same then i'm sure everyone would have said he should of started with Harry Kane .

Have to agree with the above post.

Play Kane and lose and everyone criticises for playing an unfit striker. Don't play Kane and lose and people criticise for leaving the best striker on the bench. Only way no one was going to criticise was if Spurs won which was never going to happen.

Poch would have been the one to have watched Kane in training for weeks however so he should have known whether he was fit or not.

I remember watching Liverpool Utd about 11 or 12 years ago when Torres absolutely destroyed Vidic, was a lunchtime kick off and utterly brilliant game.

I'm not expecting much tomorrow tbh. The thing is If they don't turn up again then the pressure will mount massively on Poch.
