So let's get this right.

You earn a reported £220K a week and you still want the Owners to blow smoke up your arse? Oh do fk off!!!

I thought it was £280 k a week but whatever it is, he's worth every penny.
Easily the most indespensable player in the PL last season and if we don't have him then winning the title again will be much harder.

What a complete tool. It's beyond me how a 31 year old can act like this.

Even the video of him getting the cake on the plane, he's got a face on him like a slapped arse.

Can someone ask his agent if Yaya wished Sheikh Mansour happy birthday?

And what he did as a thank you for giving him an absurdly high wage

This whole sorry story sounds like an agent rippling the waves to get a decent cash in for Yaya and a commission for himself. Yaya is 31? At the end of his best season for Man C.

Time for a lucrative move to a high spending club before his value starts to decline over the next couple of seasons.

I'd love for the sheik to call his bluff and have him sat on the bench until the end of his contract! smile

listening to the interview with the agent it does sound like the agents idea.
I may be wrong but I've always understood Toure to be a Muslim who doesn't drink, is happily married and (along with his brother) sends a lot of his money back to the Ivory Coast to help his large family and several charities based there.
Ofcourse this may be all spin and hes a greedy fk.

Sound's like a Rooney-esq sulk to get one last final bumber deal, No player is bigger than the club no matter how good he is IMHO , unless his name is Wayne of course.

Don't forget Wayne needs plenty of cash to support "The home for retired hookers".

I'd imagine PSG or one of those Russian clubs would better what he gets. He's probably looked at what Messi and Ronaldo are being paid and fancies some of that himself!

There is an element of "you reap what you sow" though....he came for the massive pay packet so clearly likes maximising his wage packet.

I'd be genuinely gutted if he wasn't in the Prem next season, he's one of my favourite players of all time.

City hold all the cards in this case.

He signed a contract last year that runs out when he's 35. He's going nowhere good at that age.

If he wants to be a dick stick him in the reserves.

Or stick £100 mil tag on him and see if anyone is stupid enough to pay it...will solve the FFP issues with that sale.
