I was shocked you guys didnt go for him in the summer tbh - his fast direct style of play is very much UTD - unlike the slower sytle you have nowFingers crossed it goes as well as we (LFC) hope... still enough time left this season to make a fight for top 4 thats for sure.

This is exciting news!
When people were talking about Klopp last year I was never convinced we'd be able to get him without CL football
No, indeed! I was just remembering earlier that when he was mentioned a year or so back it was seen as "pie in the sky" almost. Since Rafa left we have had Hodgson, Kenny and BR. This is by far the most ambitious and forward looking appointment. I don't remember top teams's fans being wary when we got any of the other 3...When people were talking about Klopp last year I was never convinced we'd be able to get him without CL football

Ex-Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has issued a bizarre challenge to prospective Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: take over at Sunderland instead.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss has emerged as the big favourite to replace Brendan Rodgers at Anfield, but the Reds aren’t the only Premier League club with a new managerial vacancy.
Speaking on his Kicca account, Redknapp said: ‘Klopp will go in there [Liverpool] and probably finish fourth, they might finish fifth.
‘Put him in at Sunderland now and see if he can do the job there. It would be a different story.’
Sunderland, without a win in their first eight matches, are 19th in the Premier League and lie nine points below Liverpool.

As a Hammers fan old enough to have cheered 'Arry on from the terraces I used to like his cockney banter but he certainly seems to have lost the plot. Seemed to turn bitter when he didn't get called in for the England job. That comment above is just plain daft!
