Right then Gooners, break over for the lads, next team up for a good old fashioned Emirates drubbing will be Newcastle.

Follow-on fixtures:

Everton
Napoli
Watford
Napoli
Palace
Wolves
Leicester
Brighton
Burnley
UEFA Cup Final.

We can now finish 3rd or 4th, it is down to the belief that the team have in themselves, they have proven they have the skill to pull off great results, even if some of our players tend to self-destruct like a hand grenade.
With that run in, the team should be very disappointed if they don't finish 3rd.

Especially seeing as we don't have the drag of the semi-finals should we beat Napoli.

The issue with that fixture list is our away form which is just st. We need to put some performances in away from home...one thing that does help is that some of those games won’t mean much to the opposition at that stage of the season. Bit of old fashioned “1-0 to The Arsenal” would do.

Yes agreed. I'd still rather have this fixture list than having to face 2 of the top 6 like them lot down the road.

So it’ll be a calamity if you don’t finish above Spurs from this point on, right?

season expectations were 6th place. I know Ian Wright went off on one about 4th place but i think our manager is over delivering with this team and the fans i know and speak to in person say the same.

Toon (home) should win, but no doubt will make a meal of it
Everton (away) In better form of late- Predict a Draw
Napoli (home) Tough one but think we will be winning 2-0 and let one in late (sound familiar)
Watford (away) Will either be on a high of getting to FA cup final or grumpy as didn't-either way not going to be pretty
Napoli (away) Nervy 1-1 to nick through to semi (optimistic or realistic 1-0 loss >.<)
Palace (home) Should beat them, no doubt a tight one and nick a win
Wolves (away) They should have stuffed us at home but were more interested in wasting time than playing football, will lose this one.
Leicester (away) OF course we play them when they've realised they don't have to be crap another draw
UEFA Semi (Villarreal/Valencia) Win at home, draw away to scrape through
Brighton (home) battling for pride and should win, so huff n puff draw
UEFA Semi (Villarreal/Valencia)- see previous
Burnley (away)- depends if we have any realistic chance of top4 depending on other results but Burnley like playing us so a draw at best
UEFA Cup Final. (Chelsea probably)- Oliver Giroud to score header to win it...an own goal...break out the la la la Giroooooooo song wink

team news: Ramsey and Monreal are back, Xhaka is out and the Uruguayan kidnap squad is also sadly out as he is banned.

Hoping we can make the most of Spuds dropping points tonight, but not getting too excited as Rafa has history of making his teams hard to beat.

Oh it certainly won't be a calamity, I don't measure our success by where Spurs finish, that's small minded. I will be disappointed if we don't make top 4 now, as it's in our hands.

1-0 - Ramsey scores after some nice moves by the lads.

Gotta say, Mustafi, the equivalent of a walking, talking, footballing hand-grenade, just waiting to go off somewhere on the pitch.

Long 25 mins! Been good so far but really should have got another and the defence doesn’t inspire confidence.

...and get me a pack of Tropical Fruit Bubblicious.

Excellent result tonight, and the Aubemazette second was almost Wright, Anelka, Henry in their pomp.

Watching Ozil; some very good play from him. It’s takes a tutored eye, but he makes the hard look easy.

Interesting run in for all four clubs. We must maintain concentration for the last push. Must.

I think Everton on Sunday is going to pivotal as probably the hardest game of our run in. Win that, especially after a tough mid week battle, will see us cement the top four.

All our away games worry me! Everton have a had a couple of very good results and we’re away at Wolves, Watford and Leicester out away games are against sides who occupy places 7 to 10 in the PL. We need Kozzer back for Sunday and hopefully Torreira comes back in midfield after his suspension.

One thing is for sure with Emery...it’s impossible to predict who and in what formation he will pick.
