I'm not rubbing it in the faces of my United mates, we still have to visit Wolves. Their attack tore Uniteds defence to shreds at times, and our defence is hardly solid.

I'd be terrified too.

TBH I'm not one of the Spurs fans that feel finishing above Arsenal is the most important thing, in fact i'd rather Arsenal get CL football next season over Chelsea & Man utd.

I'd be more than happy for both Spurs & Arsenal to fill places 3 & 4 this season. Obviously i'd like to finish higher than the goons but for me it's not the be all & end all.

Everton, Wolves, Watford & Leicester all away will not be easy , Still loads to play for

Wouldn't surprise me if we end up with positions 3rd to 6th all being determined on the last day.

Watched the Barc - Villareal match on TV last night, was nice to see Santi back playing in the way we saw for years, given that injury and time away from playing and the fact that he was told he may not even be able to walk properly again, let alone play top flight.

Just seen his highlights reel, great performance. We could really do with him back!

I suspect Guendouzi could mature into this sort of player, shows all the attributes...

Heads up - I believe it could be possible for Spuds to finish 4th and not qualify for the CL next season - If the Stars align,

Equally it could happen to us or whoever finishes 4th !!!

As one of my Pals just said "That would be the most Spurs finish to a season ever" biggrin

I like Guendozi. A lots made of his obscure background, but he was PSG academy I believe, and he’s still very young. He’s maturing well. Great character too.

Yes, his ability to pick a pass is fantastic. You can't teach that. His work ethic and will to win is great to see too.

Our lads can only control what they do on the pitch, Man Flu being beaten by the Midlanders could be a pivotal moment in our season in the race for top 4 but yeah, I don't know what Mustafi will make of the Wolves attacking players.

Will probably try to kick-one to death i suppose in the opening minutes and miss.

4-4-1 formation for us then.

Blackcanman: I will be listening to the Spuds game tonight on the radio. Palace could make a game of this, I can see a goal or two.

This isn't true... Uefa rules state that a country can have 5 representatives in the champions League if one of them wins the Europa or Champions League and doesn't finish in top 4

3.02 Associations are represented on the following basis:
a. one representative: winner of the top domestic championship;
b. two representatives: winner and runner-up of the top domestic championship;
c. three representatives: winner, runner-up and third-placed club in the top
domestic championship;
d. four representatives: winner, runner-up, third- and fourth-placed clubs in the top domestic championship.
3.03 The UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League titleholders are guaranteed a place in the group stage even if they do not qualify for the competition through their domestic championships. If the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League titleholder qualifies for the UEFA Europa League through one of its domestic competitions, the number of places to which its association is entitled in the UEFA Europa League is decreased by one.
10 I – General Provisions
3.04 If the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League titleholder qualifies for the group stage of the competition through its domestic championship the vacancy created in the group stage is filled as follows:
a. A vacancy created by the UEFA Champions League titleholder is filled by the
domestic champion of the association ranked 11th in the access list and the champions path is rebalanced accordingly with priority given to the club of the best ranked association of the respective round in the access list (see Annex A);
b. A vacancy created by the UEFA Europa League titleholder is filled by the third- placed club of the association ranked fifth in the access list and the league path is rebalanced accordingly with priority given to the club of the best ranked association of the respective round in the access list (see Annex A).
3.05 If the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League titleholder qualifies to the qualifying phase or play-offs of the competition, the respective qualifying rounds or play-offs are rebalanced accordingly with priority given to the club of the best ranked association of the respective round in the access list (see Annex A).
3.06 Exceptionally, an association may be represented by five clubs in the competition if the UEFA Champions League and/or UEFA Europa League titleholder does not also qualify through its domestic championship.

Can't believe you gooners aren't all huddled around a TV somewhere all excited at the prospect of watching one of the world's greatest stadiums being opened. wink

I thought if, say, UTD won the CL and Chelsea the Europa and they finished 5th and 6th then the 4th place team misses out

It would be funny but massively outweighed by UTD winning something
