KDB seems to be being a bit of a dick, apparently it was sparked after being subbed off on 70 minutes IIRC against Burton when they were 23-0 up. He is coming back from a long injury, not forcing him to play another meaningless 20 mins seems logical

Could just be the media making something out of nothing?

This. There's nothing in it, other than a laugh for everyone involved

Poch brought Kane on for 30 seconds when spurs were 6-0 up.

Now that's logical laugh

Maybe he has an appearance based reward in his contract and Poch was helping him out.

16 games left. Chance city will win them all. It's going to be a tight run in.

Never have two teams had more than 50 points at this stage of the season.

We've not dropped a point to any side outside the top six so far this season and we have less games against the rest of the six than any other top six side. It's definitely going to be tight. However, despite us being 4 points clear, I still think it's City's to lose, just because of the squad they have. Other than another injury to Fernandinho, they're pretty bulletproof!

It's mad really how well we've done this season.

Even if Mahrez had scored his pen against us we'd still be above them.

If we can stay within a couple points either way then I don't think I'll be able to cope come March/April!!

I think it's a good sign he wants to play every minute, even against Burton.

Some of our squad didn't want to play at all against Wolves.

I'd say their defence can sometimes be a bit suspect. Given the number of goals they score though, probably not a worry.

We don't need them to falter, we just need to keep going. Hopefully we can beat Palace and Leicester and go into February on top, as they have some really tough fixtures in Feb, regardless of how good they are.

Yes, perhaps one issue for them is the number of games they have to play versus us. For example in our next 3 games they have 5 games due to the extra cup games. Hope they continue the long cup runs. Of course they have the squad for rotation, but it might help us a bit as there does have to be tiredness over a season catching up at some point. They have experience of winning though, whereas I guess we'll get really stressed out near end of season with the chance to win our first ever Premier League title if we're still up there.

Well, let's start with your wkfodder Keita. He's in danger of sinking without a trace if he can't be helped to turn things around. It's early days and he's a relatively young man so time is on his side but he should at least be applying himself and showing desire and motivation. Shaqiri went missing and Origi's first half was at best lethargic, though he did change for the second.

Shaqiri's performance was merely a proof of theory. He switches off and it's been seen and commented on before. He, Keita and Origi wasted a golden opportunity to shine. Keita and Shaqiri have, based on previous performance, enough capability to impose themselves on a game like that and dictate play - for whatever reason they didn't.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about City, they're still campaigning on every front. Will they pay for that later on? We'll see. As it stands they've a chance of winning everything.

Sorry I must have misinterpreted - you said 'didn't want to play' not 'didn't play well' I thought I had missed something

CBA going over the whole Keita thing done it too death, if you think he is going to sink without a trace that's fine, I have this little feeling though JK will give him a little more time than you. (its almost like you want him to fail so you can carry on this internet thing you have with me, why not just give him time, like City did with Bernardo Silva) ?

He says that Keita "is in danger" of disappearing without trace, not that he is going to do so.

It's difficult to argue with that on the evidence of this season.

I think he will come good myself, but there is no doubt he is in danger of missing the boat, especially if AOC comes back this season.
